Drove across town to cash a scratch ticket in before they close, which their website states is at 4:45pm, only for them to tell me they quit paying anything out at 4:15pm. Then the guy argued with me about what their hours say on their website. So here's a screen shot.

ZERO stars if that was an option. The lotto is a racket designed to bilk folks out of their hard earned $. Colorado then starts the Monday night drawing for Lotto + to give the sucker another "chance" to win. As of today, no winners on Monday of the big jackpot. What a joke. If the average Joe pulled these rackets we would be in jail. Total double standard like so much of what is going down currently in America.

I love scratching tickets and I probably spend a few hundred a day. I've hit some nice ones and slot of break even prizes, but there is one thing I'd wish the Colorado Lottery would implement in their rules and guidelines to their retailers. It's fusterating when you go into a store such as a gas station to cash in a $20-$40 ticket and before you hand the clerk the ticket to scan, their first comment is " I don't have enough cash to pay out". If you sell tickets you should never refuse to pay out small prizes. Yes I use most of my winnings and get more tickets, but at times I do want the cash. I'm sure many of lottery customers feel the same way. Please consider making it a requirement on a retailers license not to refuse a payout and have enough cash to pay out smaller prizes.
