I'm the President of a 20 Home HOA in Jupiter, FL. Community Financials has allowed us to automate our financial system. Every homeowner has access to their own account to know where they are on financial obligations. We also utilize the document storage to allow our homeowners a one-stop place to access our governing documents, financial reports, meeting minutes, ARB applications, and so much more. The staff is courteous and extremely responsive. We are extremely happy with their service.

They are always willing to answer our questions and proactively anticipate problems before they occur. I highly recommend hiring them to work with your HOA!

This company is still operating in the 1990s. If your HOA wants a company who processes billing and accounts receivable, avoid Community Financials because their system is outdated. They outsource their billing so for a home owner to check how much they owe, they have to go to one website to log into a portal but go to another website to make the actual payment. You would think a company with the word “financials” in their name would take care of billing as that is what HOAs hire them to do, but no, it is outsourced. Their website and systems are antiquated so if you want to receive bills via email (since you know, it’s 2024), expect to spend months trying to get them to switch you over to paperless billing. Even though their portal has email and mail options for you to select, it won’t actually do anything. You still have to contact their outsourced company just to switch to paperless billing. Not only this, Community Financials’ customer service is horrendously rude and unhelpful.

Edit in response to what the owner wrote below: The number of reviews I have written for other businesses is irrelevant so I’m not sure why that was brought up. I have contacted Community Financials with my community name and house number multiple times and have received a different answer each time. The latest one told me to contact a different company and request paperless billing - that sounds like outsourcing to me.

I am the President of a condo association in Florida. We transitioned to Community Financials in June of 2024. They allowed us to improve the way we did business as a Board and as a community. Their software package and ease of use in terms of approving invoices, real-time account balances, financial reports and a vast improvement in communicating with our Association exceeded our expectations. Going with Community Financials also resulted in a net savings to our bottom line with much improved quality and accuracy over what we had.

Wish I could add more stars for Shannon McGuire and Community Financials. On numerous occasions I have needed benign to off the wall help with our association account. Shannon replies so quickly, it is like she was waiting for my request with nothing else to do. Have never had to read a reply that started with “no”. We switched to Community a few years ago and have never had a moment of regret. Cannot say thank you enough. Great work!
