I needed to re-register my car in the yukon. This was by far the nicest and best insurance company in town. I got a quote right away and every question that I had was answered without letting me feel, that I am being annoying.
To compare: HUB let me fill out a paper that was difficult to understand, when your first language is not english. They were rude when I asked questions and afterwards told me I get a quote within 3 days (it has been a week, still nothing). TD was far more expensive and they do not have an office in town. TA Firth gave me an appointment in 2 weeks, which is ridiculous to just get a quote!
When I decided that I am going to go with co-operators - I just walked back in again and got it right away.

I have had very positive interactions with the Cooperators staff in Whitehorse and also the claims department in Ontario. Very fast return of the insurance money claim, and no hassles whatsoever.

It's also lovely to get the personal touch from the staff in Whitehorse. Very kind, knowledgeable and efficient staff work there.

Great support for our local non-profit; we switched our coverage from another provider when we couldn't renew our policies due to forest fires in the area; thankfully Co-Operator had folks locally who actually understood the minimal fire risk to the community and were able to provide us coverage at a fraction of the cost of their competitors. Would certainly recommend.
