This review is long overdue.... Cotter Lumley has always given me the best experience that I have ever had with any insurance agent. And that says quite a lot, because I am also in the insurance and securities industry.

Cotter has been my agent for all of my personal property and casualty protection for over 19 years. My husband and I first started working with him when we built our first home in 2003. Then we got personal articles policies with him some years later. Now, I am entrusting my liability business coverage to him for my new office location that I recently moved into.

His customer service is phenomenal! Even after so many years of working with me, he always takes my call when he's available and gives me great personal service. When he is not available, his office manager, LaShaun is like an old friend! She is so sweet! Sometimes we talk about family and our lives and have great personal connection that has nothing at all to do with business!

I am proud of the way Cotter represents our industry and am even more proud to call him my personal agent. As we prepare to start construction on our home land that we recently purchased, I will definitely be entrusting protection of our next new home to Cotter Lumley and his fantastic State Farm team!

Avoid Cotter Lumley at all costs. I had just moved to Missouri and spoke to Cotter on the phone about auto coverage. I told him I wanted the minimum legal coverage, but he lied and sold me on a more expensive insurance package. I didn’t realize for over a year that I was manipulated into coverage I did not want to pay for. If you like being lied to and misled into buying insurance you don’t want, head on down to Cotter Lumley. Otherwise, go elsewhere.
