This was nice, having it long time ago, now they’re brokers, no reliability, no accountability, their adjuster lied through her teeth to give the run around and not pay. They get tangled on their lies and leave the costumers stranded paying the bill. If you have rental coverage good luck, if the rental company doesn’t want to honor their contract they just justify it by saying change your policy for a higher coverage… right? More $$$ ? For a mediocre coverage?

This is our first time filing a claim for auto. We were taken aback by CSAA's treatment of loyal customers like ourselves. The phone system sucks, there's no way to reply to emails because they're all DONOTREPLY, and generally, communication is limited and lacking in every way. Here are some of our observations:

CSAA's decision to not allow claimants to reach their adjusters, without calling a general phone line, that doesn't allow for extensions to be entered, and requires a 25-35 minute wait at every call could discourage us from remaining a customer.

We can't reach you in any way since we have no direct phone or email. The one time you did call us, and were persuaded to provide your direct email address, did not help, since you've never answered any of our emails.

We are VERY displeased with the choices we have in regards to caring for our car. The second time we called, the phone was answered by Graham, who set expectations for CSAA creating an appointment with the Dealership, and arranging with them to understand the service requirements. After we called again to check status, we discovered that no such help is provided. A week has been wasted without any communication from you. Had expectations been set correctly from the beginning, we could have made an appointment that would have saved us two weeks.

Our Prius has 2 batteries, which are both likely to die due to extensive wait time both for appointment with dealership, and for wait time to receive a replacement catalytic converter.

The wait time will likely be much longer than a month, yet CSAA only covers a month of car rental. There was no attempt to expedite the repair process in recognition of this limit. Therefore, we'll likely have to rent the car for much longer than a month. Also, likely, we'll have additional expenses due to battery failures.

CSAA works only with one company in our area and they are booked for another month and a half. Not having more companies to work with, especially in light of the catalytic converter theft epidemic, is abysmal. It shows that CSAA is not paying attention to their customer's needs.

We feel helpless in taking care of our burgled, damaged car. We feel that there was no support for our real needs from our insurance company. We feel that you have not done your job in being there for us in our time of need.

never use this insurance. Discounts are constantly being dropped and when you call up about it they never refund the full amount. A prime example is the paperless discount (complete scam). You have to opt into the paperless discount and yet even if you don't you will never receive a paper bill. Also funds will be automatically withdrawn to pay your policy not including said paperless discount. Customer service has a tendency to transfer to the wrong departments which leads to longer wait times. Multiple usernames and passwords are required just to view any aspect of your policy. Would Never Recommend

i cannot say that they are the most organized and i at the moment i can only recall the one adjuster i worked with last year, but at the end of the day i thought they handled my claim professionally and i was satisfied with the outcome. I had to submit some documentation to support my position that i should have been paid more but they handled it. My purpose in writing this review is not to debate the negative experiences of others, but to say that with companies our mileage may vary.

Very disappointed how they treated the accident for their client.. I had a car accident which was hit and run and I had to go through EVERYTHING BY MYSELF. I called to the CSAA at first but they took over 2 weeks to contact to the other insurance even I had the police report with the video from my dash cam. I had to call the driver's insurance to report the situation, and found out that my insurance didn't even contact to them for over 2 weeks. I sent the proves to them directly again and came out no fault. CSAA didn't even call to them anything during that whole 5 weeks. Other insurance was PROGRESSIVE and they told me that there were no call from my insurance, CSAA. I had to go to the police to get the report to make this process more quicker and the CSAA asked for ME to check if it is no fault because they couldn't hear anything(they actually didn't even call to the progressive). I could received the full amount of cost to fix my car after I made them talk each other on the phone. I had to go to H&V collision center where the CSAA recommended to go and it was estimated as 4 bsns days to fix my bumper but took 3 more days. Surprisingly, CSAA didn't even know that it will take 3 more days;it seemed they don't communicate each other right away.
I loved AAA and have been using their service for over 4 years but they suddenly renewed my insurance to this CSAA from the previous one since Jan,2017 and I had so much trouble..
There were no rental set up, and there were no notice for me about renewing the insurance either.
I felt very annoyed how this CSAA handled their client who was a victim of the accident.. I'm sorry to say this to one of their(CSAA)operator who was very nice but I never recommend this insurance to others. Most of my co-workers or even rental center people don't know this company...

Terrible insurance. They're good at semantics. Even covered losses are denied. The lazy adjusters don' t even come out to look at your damage. I'm in the process of starting a lawsuit against them. Anyone with a bad experience, please file a formal complaint with your state insurance commissioner.

I wish they would allow for 0 stars. Beware. If you have the misfortune of being victimized by one of their clients, you will be doubly victimized by this company. If you have the option to do things through your own insurance, I would highly advise you to do so, if you want to be treated fairly. The CSAA adjusters are rude, condescending, unprofessional, and unresponsive. Truly.a nightmare to deal with. I cannot imagine how badly they treat their own clients.

Be careful. They will charge you automatically weeks before your policy expires. Then, after you’ve switched carriers, they have no sense of urgency to return your money back to you for the amount they should not have automatically deducted in the first place. This is a horrific company to deal with that consists of folks in call centers who could not care less about the customers. Stay away.
