Similar posts have been made, but just want to add another. I totally understand that the drivers are on 285 everyday and they most likely deal with a lot of crappy driving. My father has been a truck driver for 50 years (retires next week actually) and he has horror stories. Having said that, this company and these drivers do not own the road just because they are on it all the time. I have been commuting to Salida for the last couple months and it is already clear that some of these drivers do whatever they can to annoy or even in danger other drivers. They will disregard pull off locations when there are dozens of cars behind them, not slow down during passing zones to let drivers pass, and will also generally just drive in a way that is selfish. I have actually never written a review in my life, but this sort of driving is going to get someone killed (I’d be surprised if they have not caused accidents in the past). This needs to be a regular discussion with drivers from management. I get it, you have a job to do and you do it a lot, but the rest of us are all trying to do the same.

The half dozen to a dozen heavily loaded Coleman trucks we pass every single day on Hwy 285 are destroying the pavement, literally clear rut marks from your 18 wheelers. But they’re all registered to Idaho. Do not come to our state, make all your money, destroy our main highway that thousands of us rely on, and purposely avoid registration taxes that would pay for our destroyed roads. If you want to make all your money here, then PAY for the damage you do!

One of your trucks just drove me off the road in Pine, CO on Friday morning, 7/14/23! He was behind me and his lane was ending up ahead so he slammed on the gas while the lanes were merging and pushed me completely off the road. I am a pregnant woman and your driver could have caused me and my unborn child serious harm! The truck number was #614 and the license plate number was 259890. Your company should not have such a careless, aggressive & reckless driver working for you. Please do better!

I drove behind a Coleman Truck full of gold bearing rocks from Fairplay over Kenosha Pass. This very unprofessional truck driver went 16 miles per hour up the pass and 25 Mph down the pass with at least 50 cars behind it. This very unprofessional driver passed up at least 4 pullouts. Other drivers were mad and made extremely unsafe passes to get ahead of the truck. I spoke to Jimmy, the safety representative, who said trucks that heavy can not safely go down the hill any faster. This transportation is preventing other commerce from being conducted via our state highways. I recommend they use smaller trucks or process the rocks in Fairplay . This goes on all day long. Someone is going to get hurt and DG Coleman will be at fault.

One of their trucks did not have their load secured fully and rocks were falling out hitting my car I called the company and spoke with Jimmy the safety manager and he was rude and did not help at all to try and fix the damages to my car. He said he would call me back and its been over a week and nothing! Very unprofessional! this is not how a company should handle this matter. Their driver was negligent and as the safety manager you should do your job and follow up to fix this issue!

Recently had an incident where a rock from a Coleman truck caused damage to my windshield that required replacement. I specifically dealt with Jim Coleman and Rick. They were extremely professional and expedited the replacement without hesitation. I believe this speaks volumes about their character. Thumbs up!

Was almost ran off of the road because one of their drivers failed to pay attention and see that I was next to them. No license plate on the back otherwise I would've reported him to the police. Only saw the company logo once I was able to get the heck away from this scary driver.

Had to call because they're drivers think they can drive in the fast lane and impede the flow of traffic. Not cool or safe.
