Nick Viscariello helped me and my family with an appraisal after having issues in my home from a hurricane. Nick was extremely professional, detailed, and took the time to help me and my wife understand the steps in the appraisal process. Ultimately Nick was successful in helping me secure almost $40k in additional funds that my insurance company was trying to withhold. Not long ago, I had a negative and challenging experience dealing with “Assurant Homeowner’s Insurance Company”. It is the insurance company assigned to me by my mortgage company while paying for my mortgage loan.

In April 2023, I filed a claim after significant water damage resulting from a hot water heater breaking in my attic. The damage was covered in my policy. All I can say, without going into a lot of detail, dealing with this insurance company was a nightmare! It became a battle for me beginning on day one. After several attempts of me trying to deal with them myself, I reached out to D.C. Hogan Insurance Adjusters. Nick Viscariello was my assigned consultant. Thank goodness, for Nick Viscariello.

Nick was reassuring he could help me. He had a long history of experience in the insurance business. I totally turned the problem over to him. I never felt abandoned nor unheard. He always answered my calls and texts. He was relentless dealing with this insurance company and their resistance to pay for damages. Finally, in late October 2024 Assurant paid the claim!!! During that time I had to take out a personal loan to fix much of the damages. Nick never indicated he would give up in his pursuit to seek justice for me and he didn’t!! He’s the guy who says what he means and means what he says! He’s a straight shooter and a bulldog when fighting for justice and his clients!

FINALLY, in late October of this year, the insurance company settled. I am now able to pay back my loan and complete repairs after 18 long months of dealing with this insurance company. Payment for Nick’s services has been worth every penny. If anyone reading this is looking for a respectable and honest person to help represent them, Nick can. If you’re looking for someone to go above and beyond for his clients when dealing with a homeowner insurance issue, again, Nick is definitely your guy!!
