Switched my Homeowners insurance over to Deborah Pearson Agency, Inc. American Family Insurance in the early 90's. At this time we needed a good insurance to also cover our in home business and have not regretted this decision. Have had all our homes and cars insured with her for the last 30 years, they review my policy every year to make sure we have the right coverage for our needs at the time. All phone calls and emails are all responded to quickly and respectfully and they search to see what we can do to get our cost down with keeping the best coverage. Every few years I get quotes from other issuances to compare cost and coverage and every time Deborah's insurance is the best price for the best coverage. I just traded one of my vehicles in for a jeep and and they were able to save me $1400 a year.

I've been with American Family and Deborah's office for several years. Her staff is always quick to respond and helpful, even when things haven't gone exactly right. They were all willing to listen and get to the bottom of things through a stressful homeowner's claim and have always been great about answering my questions to make sure I have the right coverage as my needs change. Every interaction I've had with anyone from the office feels personal, and that is increasingly hard to find with large companies these days.

I bought a new home and the previous owner recommended Deborah for the homeowners insurance. She was very helpful when signing me up and adding my cars and adding life insurance. As soon as I had an issue/complaint/cancel I could NOT get a response from multiple emails/phone calls. I finally had to call corporate to get my issue handled and have since switched to a different agent. ABSOULTELY do NOT recommend. HORRIBLE service. OH Also...she had her person walk into my backyard with NO notice to photograph my house. My dog almost ate her...An appointment or at least a phone call would have been nice...

I’m posting this review in hopes that it will get the attention of the agency to return a phone call. Recently we requested some changes to our homeowners policy. Once these changes were discussed she didn’t follow up to actually put these changes in place. There was a “misunderstanding” about actually putting these changes into effect? Once these changes were put into place my husband had a conversation with Deborah to determine what exactly our coverages would be. Unfortunately we had to file a claim that should have been covered as our policy was described by our agent. The claim was then denied. Now that we want to have a conversation with Deborah about the misrepresentation of what is covered on our policy we are unable to get a call back. My husband has tried several times and we keep getting told different time frames in which she’ll return a call ... but no call back.I've had a policy of some sort with American Family for 20 years( I had a different agent for most of this time) and am very disappointed that when a hard conversation needs to be us he avoids. I’m disappointed that an American Family customer of so long is being treated this way.

Debbie Pearson and American Family insurance are wonderful to work with. My previous insurance company dramatically increased my premium for my travel trailer, and Debbie went out of her way to get me a great rate with better coverage. I applaud her staff's professionalism, friendliness, and excellent service! Kudos for a job well done.

Very unprofessional work environment Debbie has. Always has a new person working the front desk, and they don't know what they are doing. It's clear she can't keep anyone there, so what makes you think she is reliable. I DO NOT recommend going to her, as she is very unprofessional and likes to put you off, until you start complaining to corporate. She stated she is also too busy to meet up in person when you want to ask why your insurance policy went up. Do not pick her, choose someone else
