My husband, Jerry, and I have worked with Jordan at Dechtman Wealth Management for 25 years. We were 57 years old at the time we first started working with him. We owned a successful retail business in Cherry Creek North at the time, as well as the building the business was housed in. In addition, we owned our loft in LoDo.

We began by investing in IRA accounts with Dechtman. Jordan walked us through the investment process, and we met annually for the first few years to review our status.

When we sold the business, we added to our investment.

When we sold the building, we were able to add a sizable amount more to our investment.

At that time, we began taking withdrawals from our account, as a major supplement to our retirement income. The earnings have many times covered our withdrawals.

Jordan has been a personable guide and strives to build relationships with his clients. Since his sons, Sam and Adam, have joined the company, we have continued to be cared for and our funds have continued to prosper.

All and all, we know that using Dechtman Wealth Management, has been a good decision for us, and has worked well in our retirement years.

This firm doesn’t actually provide financial planning—they only manage wealth you already have. If you’re not a billionaire, don’t bother setting up a consultation.

The one-star rating isn’t for their lack of services but for their lack of transparency. During our initial consultation with Sam, we were upfront about what we were looking for, sharing personal details and gathering every document he requested. Yet, on the morning of our first appointment, they canceled, claiming they don’t offer the services we explicitly asked about in the consultation just a week earlier.

It wasn’t just a waste of time—it was a waste of emotional effort. Worse, it completely discouraged my wife from seeking professional help again, undoing ten years of effort to get her on board.

If you value your time and emotional energy, go somewhere else.
