What stood out most was the DelMorgan team’s unwavering commitment to staying in the trenches with us until we found the right opportunity and transaction. When challenges arose, their recommitment and resolve were not only notable but truly inspiring. Thanks to DelMorgan’s dedication and expertise, we achieved an outcome as close to ideal as we could have reasonably hoped for. Simply put, they helped us secure the deal we wanted.

I discovered DelMorgan through an online search while seeking assistance with strategic advice for our new startup. Rob and the team were reliable and easy to communicate with and they took a genuine interest in understanding our specific challenge and maintained clear communication with our in-house team. DelMorgan’s bankers were proficient with solutions that aligned perfectly with our goals. Highly recommended.

I don’t typically write business reviews, but after the debacle that was our experience with DelMorgan & Co., I feel obligated to warn anyone even remotely considering working with them. If you are a business in search of capital, let me save you time, money, and immense frustration—look elsewhere. There are plenty of reputable firms that won’t string you along, waste your time, and then demand money for failure.

We initially engaged DelMorgan & Co. to help us secure financing for our company, believing their claims that they had a vast network of lenders and a proven track record. We signed an engagement letter and, like many others, paid them a hefty, non-refundable fee upfront for their supposed expertise. That was our first mistake. What followed was months of empty promises, lackluster efforts, and laughable financing options that were so far off-market they were insulting. Instead of actually delivering on their engagement, DelMorgan seemed far more interested in trying to convince us that the terrible terms they found were somehow reasonable.

As time dragged on and it became clear they weren’t delivering anything close to what they had promised, we made the decision to part ways. And that’s when DelMorgan showed their true colors. Upon terminating our engagement for non-performance, they immediately tried to strong-arm us into paying even more money—despite already failing to produce results. Their justification? A vague, overly broad list of thousands of lenders they claimed to have contacted on our behalf—none of whom had shown real interest or made meaningful offers. The implication was clear: if we raised capital from anyone on that list in the future, DelMorgan expected to be paid a fee—whether or not they had actually done any real work to facilitate the transaction.

Fast forward, and like many others who have had the misfortune of dealing with DelMorgan, we went on to secure financing successfully—without their help. Our business grew substantially, and we ultimately completed a deal with a reputable firm through legitimate channels. And yet, despite years after our engagement with DelMorgan had ended, they resurfaced out of nowhere, this time through a bottom-feeding attorney sending legal threats, claiming that we owed them money for a deal they had absolutely no part in. Their entire business model seems to rely on strong-arming past clients into paying for nonexistent results—an extortion tactic dressed up as investment banking. There are websites dedicated to the frivolous lawsuits they have filed against their clients. Look it up, you'll see.

DelMorgan is not a legitimate advisory firm; they are a parasite looking for their next host. Their approach is simple:

- Charge exorbitant, non-refundable upfront fees.
- Make minimal effort to actually deliver results.
- When fired for non-performance, claim you still owe them money.
- Threaten businesses with legal action years later to shake them down for more.

If you want to pay six figures for a PowerPoint deck and a vague list of lenders you could have found yourself on LinkedIn, by all means, sign up with DelMorgan. If you want to waste months with an ineffective team that spends more time justifying their failures than producing real results, then go ahead. And if you enjoy being hit with baseless legal threats after successfully securing capital without their involvement, they’re the firm for you.

Otherwise, save yourself the headache and find a firm that actually delivers value. DelMorgan is the definition of a bad-faith operator, and their only real expertise is in extracting fees from businesses without delivering any meaningful results.

Consider yourself warned.

Would not suggest using DelMorgan & Co. for anything. If you're a company seeking capital, seek elsewhere.

DelMorgan's fees are above market, they failed for months on the file we gave them. The only financing options they delivered were laughably off-market - they spent more time trying to convince us the financings they brought were acceptable than actually finding acceptable financings.

You'll pay a non-refundable 6-figure fee that they'll keep despite running your company name into the ground. Once you fire them for cause, they'll call you and suggest you owe them more money than you already paid with no legal basis. After shaming you for refusing to pay their additional (unsubstantiated) extortion fee, they'll provide you a list of over 1,500 lenders that they claim they courted on your behalf.

Two years later after everyone has long forgot the absurd experience that "DelMorgan & Co" was, they'll resurface through a strip-mall attorney demanding you pay them for their failed efforts. For clarity, we've been successful despite the damage DelMorgan did - they are a leech in search of a host, are you their next?

Stay far away, there are far better alternatives. If you want your company name tarnished, to waste time and money and then be shamed by a banker and his son who already took a 6-figure fee with nothing to show, signing with DelMorgan & Co might be for you.
