We have used Denver Agency for years for a number of our commercial properties around the Denver Area that were managed by Hannah M. All of our policies were transferred to another agent, Chrisy F., somewhere around 2022 and 2023.Unfortunately, we noticed quite the decline in service when our accounts were switched over. It is extremely difficult to receive a response back from Christy whether it be by phone or email, and it is difficult to have your requests fulfilled in a timely manner. I understand things come up and workloads can get heavy but, it is consistently like trying to pull teeth to get any type of correspondence back. And consistently, no effort to make up for delayed responses, requests, or to make us feel as if we are a valued customer.
The newest issue we are trying to work through is that a policy was never cancelled (although I provided signed cancellation form to cancel this policy as of 12/1/2023) so now we run into an unwanted policy being renewed, new premium being owed, and potential issues with being refunded any unearned premium that is owed back to us. Once again, there has been no sense of urgency to keep the customer updated or try to make the situation right.
*Update: was finally able to get this problem resolved after I had to contact the insurance company, Selective, personally and explain the situation (after 6 weeks of not receiving responses or progress updates from Christy). To my surprise, when I called, they had no record of any cancellations being submitted for the policy in their system. I had to submit the cancellation form from December myself. Thankfully, the woman who helped me at Selective was proactive with making the situation right and keeping me updated on the process. I submitted the cancellation to them on 6/18, and they were able to process my cancellation request as of 6/19, refund check received on 7/8. *
Over the last year or so, we have ended up moving all our commercial properties from Denver Agency (with the exception of one) mainly due to the issues we have continued to run into with our agent, but also partially we were able to find better coverage for lower premiums. I have tried extending grace over and over, but there must come a point when enough is enough.

Recently applied for coverage. Quick to respond. Multiple attempts to follow up on status. Agency never reached out to provide an update, I had to follow up. Sent feedback to management team. Have heard nothing back. Expect more from an agency of this caliber based off mission statement.

I had commercial policies with Denver Agency several years ago. They were terrible. I could not get anyone to return my phone call, even when it was urgent. I would send emails and only sometimes get a reply but not promptly. It turned out the agent handling my account kept changing, probably 3-4 different people over a 1-2yr period. It was such chaos, nobody to talk to and when it came time to renew they didn't seem to care. I switched to another company and have been getting much better service and better policies ever since. I would avoid this firm.

The Denver Agency was amazing to work with. From the first moment we bought our PURE policy from them, they have been incredibly responsive and attentive to our insurance needs. Whether it be a cracked windshield, or a significant auto claim, they have always come through for us. In fact, we just recently had an auto claim that Jeff from The Denver Agency personally took charge of and ensured it was covered for us. If we hadn't had them there for us, I honestly don't know what we would have done. Thanks Denver Agency!!!!

I was startled to see that there was only one review of The Denver Agency and it was one star. I have been with this company for decades with both residential and commercial properties and cars. They have been unfailingly wonderful!! They are prompt, courteous, friendly and intelligent. They have handled all of my claims, questions and concerns with ease.

When I read the unflattering review, I discovered it was intended for an Arby's which had no sauce. However, I feel sure that someone at the Denver Agency would have gotten that for them had they asked.

I decided to shop for new insurance just to see if we could reduce our insurance costs. I talked with Emily McArt at Denver Agency. She quoted several different companies and saved us $6,000 a year with better coverage by moving to Nationwide Private Client. Emily did her homework and helped decide exactly what levels of coverage we need. It has been a terrific experience. Emily is extremely customer oriented and very responsive to all of our needs. I would highly recommend her and Dever Agency, if you are shopping for insurance.

The Denver Agency has been great to our company. Relative to their other clients, we're small fish. Despite that, we're given the attention and service I suspect most
brokers would reserve for their biggest accounts. Tammy and Christy have very much done right by us.
