All state provides, good, affordable home and auto. The issues arise when you need to use them. A member of my family drove one of our cars through a carwash with a bike rack on...and damaged the carwash. It was unattended, and there was no visible damage.

About a month later, we were notified by Allstate that a claim had been filed against us. I spoke with Allstate reps (not Saundra), and when I tried to find out how much the claim was for, and if we could pay it, I was told there was no settlement amount, and that our premium would NOT go up...they reiterated this on each of 3 phone calls.

Several months later, our premiums went up, by over 20%. Saundra refuted my version of the events, until she went back and reviewed the phone calls. Then she changed her story. There was simply nothing they could do, she says, and had to pay the claim. She simply didn't address the other issues.

For $2500. That's what the claim amount was, which I would have never found out, unless I pushed and pushed and pushed.

So we pay premiums on home and auto for 6 years with no claims, then have this ding on our driving record, and Saundra just skirts any issues, filing an "at fault" collision claim.

It's not lying, but it's not being transparent, and the process is definitely flawed. If you think you're getting good customer service, look elsewhere. Earnest and associates have not figured out how to represent Allstate, and more importantly, their customers.

We like Allstate however I HIGHLY recommend choosing a different agent. This place NEVER answers their phone or return messages. I’ve only had someone answer the phone twice out of the 3 years we’ve been using this office. Find an agent who answers the phone- that is the bare minimum and this office can’t even achieve that. I have several friends and family who use this office too and unfortunately they say the same. I called a different office in hopes of someone being able to answer my one question. I told the other office my issue with this place and they said they have heard the same thing from several other customers.

My son had a car accident that totaled his brand new to him car 3 weeks after buying it, then 6 months later we knew our insurance was going to go up well it more than double with progressive. We dealt with it for a year and then did our rate shopping to see if we could get a better rate since progressive increased it again by another 200 bucks. They wanted over 900 a month. Allstate gave us the best quote at 307 and signed us thru these guys. Its nice being able to have a smaller office to deal with when we do have to contact them. They were awesome at getting my new insurance cards to me a couple weeks before the new policy went into affect by email so we had them on us for a trip we took. Instead of the day the new policy took hold.

They are the best retirement group in Nebraska Saundra Earnest has helped myself and my wife really understand how to see our retirement as a positive instead of a negative experience we really think all state is awesome.
