BEWARE!! I am writing this to give an honest review of my experience to help others that are thinking of using Fairway Mortgage in order to hopefully avoid what we went through. Mandie Pallone, was extremely difficult to work with. She locked our rate before discussing this with us, she did not communicate with her team about the rate we agreed upon in our meeting so when her team sent our paperwork for signatures it was showing a higher rate, and we did not hear from her for over a week and then she just showed up at our closing acting like all was okay. The only reason we closed with Fairway Mortgage was because we had to close on time for our short sale to be completed. If it was a normal sale where we had a bit more flexibility we would have 100% chosen to use a different lender that communicated better and handled business more professionally. I do not write this out of spite, but out of warning to others so they can hopefully avoid what we went through. Best of luck in your home searches!!!
