I called today, June 28, 2024 to get a quote and start a new policy on my husbands work car. This would have been the start of a new relationship with Farmers, and after seeing how this policy was handled most likely would have led to me starting policies on BOTH mine and my daughters new BMW’s as well as my home. I called and spoke to Lance and advised him that i wanted the policy to inly be on my husbands work car, and it is separate and in his name alone. Lance wanted my information as well, for a married discount, i told him i never drive the car and i am not worried about the discount, and he advised me that if i was not going to do ALL my cars and homes that it would take up too much time for just the one car, for a 6 or 12 month policy and he was going to decline giving me a quote or writing a policy. I asked why he would do that and he replied that it would not be worth it. I thought this was his job? Well had he done the policy and everything went well, i was going to switch business to their office but he didn’t even let me have the chance with 1 car! Not worth it? That is baffling!!! And incredibly rude!!!! All he had to do is show me the policy, and that there were no hangups and he would have earned us as a customer for everything!!! Very very awful and rude!!!!
