Let me start with this: We had such high hopes when we started our little business at the end of the 121 East Aspen Avenue hall. We chose Marianne as our agent. She seemed very friendly. Boy, were we wrong!
The first incident happened during the parade of lights. My husband has set up a small table out front with select items from our shop. The table was clearly out of the way of either door. When Marianne and Sammie (who's as sweet as the day is long) came out with cookies and goodies for the parade goers, Marianne rudely moved my husband's chair and exclaimed, "We should be sitting on the other side of the other side (the other side is were the post office drop box is)
Also, my husband and little stepson had later taken a seat on the public bench in front of her office. Marianne told my husband that he should save that bench for them, My husband told her he had to sit there because of screws in his back, and she replied, "I know."
The second incident happened later in the evening when we directed one of our customers to the bathroom in the hallway because they had an infant. Marianne told us that we should not let people from the street use our bathroom and that it was not a public restroom.
Meanwhile, she was having people from her office off the street (who had been enjoying hot chocolate and refreshments, all provided by her) use the bathroom. The final straw came when Marianne slammed the door when my stepson and I were going back inside my shop. I opened the door, and Marianne turned around and spoke condescendingly when she said, "I thought that you! Sorry about that!"
I thought agents should care for and treat their clients respectfully and kindly Is this how Farmers want themselves represented
Also, Marianne's goodies for the parade of lights-goers and fellow business owners in the building that evening—all, the invitation was never extended to us.

Marianne was our agent and was very rude. Our business was located at 121 E Aspen. There is a restroom for businesses of this building. Marianne did not like a customer of ours with an infant using the restroom. but all customers of hers are welcome to. Make sure your infant doesn't need a diaper change. I have screws in my back and a heart condition. Marianne did not want me to sit on a public bench. This smells like control freak to me. Do you suppose ADA would approve of a business doing this? Is this a true representation of farmers insurance?
