Sandi was extremely patient with my multitude of questions. After being given a renewal estimate for our former homeowners insurance of nearly $10,000.00 - she worked to get us on the California Fair Plan and a new house insurance policy to cover the rest - these policies were something that as senior citizens we can afford to pay. With all the craziness going on here in California, regarding homeowners insurance companies leaving the state, we had very few options. We have a long time relationship with another insurance agent who told us we would probably need to find someone else to help us at the current time. I reached out to Sandi and the Associates in her office. They were awesome! Got us a quote, got us set up with California fair plan, and handled some additional needs we had as well. Our insurance, through State Farm, for our HOME!
Was cancelled because they are pulling all homeowners policies from California.
I can understand the reasons why,
The insurance companies are regulated by the government. They have a cap, on what they can raise our rate per year, as a result of a moratorium
California Governor put in place, they haven’t been able to raise the rates, since the Covid shut down
That’s the back story…
Now fast forward State Farm is shady… they sent a notice, stating they needed to do a visual inspection, and they couldn’t gain access
I have proof that they could have, and corespondents
Then, I was told, it didn’t matter bc they aren’t insuring homes in California, whatsoever
Sandi got the job done and in a matter of 2 hours, bc it took me that long to get her what she needed I was insured!
What a huge relief
She’s extremely professional, knowledgeable, and detail oriented. I’m moving all of our other policies over to her at Farmers
