Our company is through Fidelity so when my husband retired we thought we would stay even though I had read several bad reviews.
The initial transaction was ok and moved fairly fast, but we have been trying to take money out for over a month and it has been a nightmare of red tape, hoop jumping, BS! Multiple calls, emails, text, and nothing. I also get the market has not done well but neither has our investments. Thank God this was not an emergency situation or we would be screwed! FYI Fidelity this is OUR money not YOURS. So ready to roll out someplace else.
UPDATE: finally ALMOST have the money we requested 7 weeks ago! It SHOULD be available tomorrow, if not PROBABLY Monday. So if you plan on taking some money out for Christmas shopping, you may want to start the long, ridiculous, hoop jumping, impossible communication, process now.

Absolutely great. I always feel like when I'm here, I'm their top priority. I've gone from not having a clue on investing to having 2 accounts and making over $10,000 on the market in under a year. This location is very professional, and the customer service over the phone is just as great.

I see them as a very useful tool, so long as you can communicate what you want. Even if you're pausing and stuttering and you need to visit 5 times- they help you professionally and personally.

I also love the online layout, the app layout, the information and webinars they supply you with, and the security. If I make a trade on my desktop, I get a phone notification in under a second, if im logged into the app or not. I also once repeatedly entered the wrong password and I really appreciate the process I had to go through to regain access. It was simple for me, but surely a nightmare for someone who isn't.

My parents had their IRA account here. Both my parents have passed, and I have been trying for over 3 weeks to move the money into my name. I had wanted to take some out to put a better down payment on my dream house, and invest the rest in my own IRA in my name. I have been given the run around. I've spoken to numerous people. They finally told me "they put someone on my case, it would be done in a week to a week and a half". When I called the number of the "guy on my case" his voicemail says he is out on extended leave and won't be back for some time. Apparently the only way to get help is to give them money, but don't expect to take it out.

Good and nice respectable employees. They understand your needs and your wants and investing your money. Not a long wait very clean. The lobby is very quick clean chairs are comfortable. Lots of outside parking for your convenience.

Fidelity investments sucks for everything, at my work it used to be with a different company and was so much better. Fidelity is as stingy as possible and make it difficult to get the money you worked for.
