DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE YOU WILL BE SCREWED OUT OF MONEY...

Flood and Peterson was amazing to start. They were very nice and attentive. We had to get a builders risk policy for a homeowner build new construction. We got the policy in February of 2021. We had a really hard time with getting our permits, and that along with all the slow downs for building right now we weren't quit finished with our home by February 4th 2022. I contacted Lisa to get the policy extended though May(just in case it took that long). She told me they only did year long policies so I assumed I could cancel after we were done with the policy. Fast forward to the week of March 15th 14th. I was ready to cancel the policy. I emailed her and she sent me the cacellation paperwork. It stated there is no refund and the the policy is a "fully earned premium" meaning no matter what you pay for the policy in full. I lost $1000 for one month of insurance. We were counting on that policy refund to help pay our other policy. They attempted to contact the company but didn't get anywhere. They didn't offer to give us any money back just said sorry they didn't explain things better. Well, they didn't explain it at all. Do not use them. They will not explain things and will sign you up for policies that are not what work best for you.
