I just had to share my experience with your claims adjuster Jackson Kraus. I'm 65 yes old. Never been in an accident. Or had a ticket for that matter. He took me trough step by step. His politeness was incredible. He put up with all my questions. Again and again. I just want you to know you've got a keeper in him. Not the best situation, but with his guidance. He assured me everything was going to be ok.

Been with them for years. I don't have speeding tickets I don't have no accidents I don't have anything in my record. My insurance is slowly crept up over this every 6 months. Didn't complain then all of a sudden got dropped. With no real explanation. Pretty messed up company had to go through an insurance agent just to contact them.

The sowers had a function there the last several years. I'm the vice president of their foundation. The last few years, they served us buffet style, and ran out of food leaving a half dozen of us, left out, because they wouldn't refill the entrees. There was several servers watching this unfold. They even expected us to do self service coffee. Then we had a speaker and their sound working the microphone battery went dead, no help from them at all. They are overpriced and service was unsatisfactory. Then they told us next year, we would have to pay a room fee. Saying they would give us a deal for 750 extra. I recommend ended finding another venue

Recommend against. New home policy quote was 500 less than actual price, of which was determined one day before signing. An additional $224 was added two weeks after signing. Insurance scam.

After nearly two years of trying to get them to fix my roof from a big wind storm they finally covered it but then quickly cancelled my policy and then likely blacklisted me.

I am now unable to insure my home with any other reasonably priced company.

Update 7/5/23
So here's my final review of the company I'll never do business with again.
I did yell at one agent for refusing to fix my home, I'm definitely not perfect but I don't pay for insurance just so I can repeatedly patch my roof on my dime due to old damage.

Now they're now ending my policy for both my vehicles and my home.. seems retaliatory, this company just gets worse.

"We have made the decision to not offer renewal of your policies. Our decision was influenced by additional underwriting indicating yours is a risk we no longer desire to insure."
Clearly one big wind storm where they charged me a deductible twice is now a risky policy and I even paid out of pocket for premium shingles.

Update:
6/20/23
This time they sent a local adjuster out and all the sudden he finds significantly more damage than the previous year but they're still making me pay a second deductible.
So they get an extra star (I give the adjuster 5stars, he was a very honest and respectful man) for sending a better adjuster but they still lose 3 for making me pay a deductible on something that was clearly damaged the year prior.. this time they covered all the interior damage, trim/moulding, gutter and other little things that were damaged.

I'd give 4 if they refunded my deductible.

3/22/23
A year later I have shingles coming up in the exact area and after having two contractors tell me I needed a full roof replacement, opened a new claim to cover it which means paying my deductible again.

Previously in 2022:
Last year I had to fight with them just to replace half my roof, after repeatedly losing shingles and having rain come into my home through the roof several times.

Their original adjuster from Lincoln constantly underestimated the issues I would guess because they lost a fortune from a wind storm in December 2021.. they wouldn't even cover the temporary patch initially.

I recently purchased a home and the realty/insurance company uses Farmers Mutual of Nebraska as one of their underwriters. Realistically, our home is in average to above average condition. We received a letter from Farmers Mutual cancelling our coverage less than 60 days after purchase stating "due to the general condition of the premises". The wording implied serious issues. Come to find out, the gutter guards were dented from hail. If you don't know, gutter guards keep leaves out of your gutters and aren't required for a functional roof/house. I understand Farmers Mutual doesn't want to replace damage prior to their policy, but they could have made an attempt to ask me to remove them, etc.
Farmers Mutual made no attempt to ask if I wanted to replace them, or take them off (they are optional after all). No correspondence, just a cancellation notice. Now, finding a new insurer, I have to answer honestly to the question: "have you ever had a policy cancelled or declined?"; i.e. more expense an time.
Luckily, I have a subscription to Consumer Reports, and went to the ratings there. I explained what happened to a top-rated insurance company, and they provided me better coverage and a much lower cost than Farmers Mutual. Not to mention, the new company has outstanding ratings from a unbiased source! My gut feeling is that Farmers Mutual might handle claims the same way, but who knows.

Jon Doom came and check out the damage from the hail and work with the contractors to have my home repaired. I received a check from Farmers Mutual of Nebraska to get the work started. The work is done and the final check is in the mail. Farmers Mutual of Nebraska treated me very well on this claim. I would recommend Farmers Mutual of Nebraska out of Lincoln Nebraska for your insurance needs.
