We brought our Peterbilt in to put new windshield in it. The truck was running fine starting fine. Nothing wrong with the truck when we got there the truck would not start. They had cranked on the truck so much in the wrong gear. It wore the starter out when we asked if they could do something for us we were told basically to leave the premises no help no customer service . The thing that is the most irritating is how they treated us. The manager was very nasty and sassy, and didn’t offer any kind of explanation or nothing. If they cannot handle a semi truck, they don’t need to offer their service for those trucks. So now not only did we pay to put the windshield in we are out 1000 bucks for a new starter too.

Do not recommend. There is zero communication and the time frame is insane. I've been trying to get my windshield replaced for months. Everytime I take the car in, they take it for an extra two weeks without a single phone call that it will be delayed or an idea when it will be done. They're the only place that can order the specific windshield for my car, but if you have other options I'd say go to another place.... I can't speak on the quality of the work seeing as it still hasn't gotten replaced. But so far a very negative experience.

Very prompt and quality work. I am on vacation from the Midwest and got a rock chip in my windshield. I called them, they said to come now, and the repair was completed in less than ten minutes! Really great service, reasonable price.

UPDATE:Took 2 years for a follow up response and the best you can muster is asking me to come back and spend more money..? Wow.
Typical local business. Terrible work, terrible customer service and sky high prices.

Not impressed. The first phone call was really all that went well with this place.
Was gonna give all the other stuff that occured over the past couple weeks a pass till I got home and got a chance to check it over a little better and found broken glass all over including in both front seats.
I'm not sure what it is with glass shops in Fairbanks and not being able to use a fricking vacuum but apparently none of them own one.
Since I'm annoyed now I also don't understand why glass shops are incapable of cleaning the glass they install.. tape still on it and a fine glaze of whatever is on glass when it's new. It's also got a bit of distortion but I suppose I'll learn to live with it.
I won't be back and I won't steer any of my friends to this place either. First impressions are everything.

My experience with Frontier Glass LLC has been deeply disappointing. Despite placing an order and paying a deposit on November 24, 2023, and promised installation before Christmas 2023, it was repeatedly delayed. Communication was lacking, After 4 months of uncertainty and delays and just pure unprofessionalism, I canceled my order and I asked for a refund for not meeting their end of the agreement and they said they would cut a check, but after a month the check was never available to pick up and they have stopped returning all correspondence regarding the refund. The lack of transparency and failure to meet on agreed-upon timelines were unacceptable.
I cannot recommend Frontier Glass LLC based on my experience. Bill K

Update 10-05-23: After 6 months, one window is repaired out of 4 remaining. Told they would be back to complete an easy one yesterday, but no show and no call. Very disappointing!

Update 07-06-23: My Company has paid in full for multiple windows to be fixed but none have been touched for almost 3 months. No return calls for ETA on repairs. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Every one that can answer questions is gone for rest of week.

Best place to have screens made or repaired for windows. Great job done on screens for whole house. Friendly and helpful staff!

Been trying to get these guys to install a new windshield for me for months.
Try 1: Called ahead, they ordered the windshield, brought in the van, left it with them. turned out to be the wrong windshield. No big deal, they took the VIN so they could order the correct one. Left the van with them for a couple of weeks, never got the new windshield, had to use the van so I picked it up. Said they'd call me when the windshield came in.
Try 2: Called me, said the windshield was in. brought the van back in, wrong windshield again. told me they'd order a the correct one, they'd call me, and go from there.
Try 3: waited a couple of weeks, never got a call so I called them. Said they'd have the person who worked with me call me back. Never got a call back.
Try 4: waited a couple more weeks, called them again, asked if the windshield ever came in. Said they'd look, put me on hold. Came back and said they'd go look again and call me back in 20 minutes. That was days ago. No call back.

Not sure what's going on, but don't waste your time here.
