I love G1G! I am a travel blogger, been to over 45 countries and 200 cites with my son, as a single mom on a budget. I NEED good travel insurance and reliable service. I used a different service previously until I was referred by another travel blogger and expert to G1G. The plans are affordable with as much or as minimal coverage as you need and the support and service is GREAT. When I first used them I had a bunch of questions and they set up a call for me and let me ask a ton of Q's. Now I use their AI assistant and their chat support and it's GREAT! Honestly I just spent $85.00 on a plan for myself and my son and it's $85.00 for extensive coverage and peace of mind! We'll be traveling internationally and across a few cities, NOT getting travel insurance is NEVER WORTH IT. G1G is GREAT, just DO IT, buy the plan!!! SAM in Customer Service IS THE BEST!

Our flight from London to Paris was delayed by 6 hours, and G1G made the situation a lot easier. They helped us file a claim that covered meals and drinks during the wait, which was a great relief. Their customer service also helped us find a solid, affordable plan before the trip. In the end, the claim was worth more than the insurance! I’d definitely recommend G1G and will use them again for future family trips.

I am very impressed with the customer service at G1G! I viewed a few of their videos on You Tube and found them quite informative and much needed, because I had researched many travel insurance companies over the span of a few days, and I was getting more confused with each new plan. After hours and hours of checking online, I felt it was time to actually talk to a real person, so with my questions, I called G1G, and fortunately, Zack answered my call. After talking to him for a few minutes, I felt at ease, and I could tell he truly cared about me and my getting good travel insurance. In total, we spoke three times, and I, finally, with his expert assistance, chose a plan, completed the application, and paid the fee. I can't thank Zack enough for his help! He was not pushy; he was friendly, patient, and professional, wanting to always give me clear explanations of the benefits of the plans. He really made me comfortable, and I remain that way, much relieved that my upcoming trip is well-protected. Zack was always so pleasant and respectful to me, and in the end, it was kind of a fun, enjoyable experience! He wanted to help his customer, as well as his company, with first-class service, which by the way, is the name of the plan I purchased!

I have taken G1G Travel Insurance couple of times. Their plan option and payment mechanism is quite good. But, i have faced issues multiple times, while signing/logging in. Even when password is reset by G1G chat, it still does not work. Consequently, accessing policy document and making changes directly is not possible and has to be done only via email.

G1G didn't pay out on the basic claim that I paid the premium cost for.
Nice service when selling the insurance, wanted to trust G1G, paid good coverage. Had a minor claim for visiting the doctors. Provided receipts, took months to get back then they said they needed extra medical records - on top of the receipts - for $200 from a tiny doctor's office in the middle of costa rica. When i asked for specifics on what they needed they never followed up (has been 4 months now). However fancy a site or customer service is, if they don't pay out on uncontested claims, that are clearly covered - then you can't help feeling G1G are the ones doing the robbing. Real shame.
