We just completed working through options for this year with Andrea and felt I needed to provide a recommendation. We have been working with this group for 10+ years and they provide simply the best customer experience. Very knowledgeable and responsive. We've worked with John Long on the health insurance side and with Yana Long, Andrea Chillemi, and Angelica Raymond on the home and auto insurance side. Without exception, they've all done a great job for us and clearly have our best interest in mind when helping us navigate through available options.

If you want to waste your time, be disrespected by either being talked down to, or talked at, and never get the insurance coverage you need for your organization, this is ABSOLUTELY the agency for you to call! 😉
Suggest to look elsewhere (ie - good agency in Boulder who is familiar with Wildfire Partners, etc!) if you are seeking General and Professional Liability Insurance for your organization. Tried two separate agents at GIA-Risk Management over the course of the past ~2.5 weeks who either don’t have a clue and/or did not listen and never provided the products needed while trying to force sell a Professional Liability policy only, which is only half of the coverage needed. The agent at GIA-Risk management, Mr Ashley, boldly claimed he never reads his emails and couldn’t keep up with his ‘Hundreds of Emails’, ignoring the information he requested that I send by email, which I did within minutes of his requests for information over the past 2.5 weeks, then did a 180 degree turn after being caught out in his lies and said ‘Don’t ever call again. I will ONLY work with you by email, if at all.’ lol. Sadly, Colorado’s Department of Regulatory Affairs (DORA) allows this clown to maintain his insurance license when it should be revoked for complete incompetence by trying to bully me into buying only half of the necessary liability insurance coverage, exposing my organization to even greater liability through his faulty advice. Good luck, Mr. Ashley and GIA/Risk Management, on staying in business with your condescending attitude and inability to provide insurance products out of sheer ignorance and unwillingness to listen to customers, especially female customers.

Best next step? Ended up calling a professional Insurance Organization in Boulder that I was referred to by the kind person at Chubb who had knowledge, listened, and got me back on the right track working to push the quote through for BOTH General & Professional Liability Insurance quickly as possible. Oh, and the best part? This new agent, who is an expert in the field of liability insurance for non-profit organizations, is technically competent, called out that Mr. Ashley used the wrong forms for the insurance application once I forwarded them to her and she reviewed, was able to ‘reply all’ using email, do internet searches, all while talking on the phone cheerfully to me having a respectful two way conversation.

Austin and his team have helped me with my medical insurance needs for a few years now and I am very pleased with the service. They have helped me understand my insurance plans by explaining the details of the coverage and finding plans that best suit my needs. I use to pay a lot more for insurance once I came here, I found out I was over paying for insurance as I qualified for deductions I was not aware of. I have also had to change insurance late in the year due to unforeseen circumstances and they were able to help me navigate that. They provide great service and they are always willing to help.

Very friendly and helpful and will suggest coverages that are good bang for your buck, and super honest. I moved out of state so Tim actually suggested that I look at in state insurers rather than go with him even though he knew he might get beat on price. I can't say enough positive things about me experience with Austin Wiggins. I have had to change to 3 different policies due to financial changes and he has been excellent through every experience - dealing with insurance companies and the government (not fun!). Austin is great!

Peter Ashley will get you into a whole mess of trouble with any insurance carrier he signs you up with. If an agent initiates the policy they will only deal with the agent. Peter will sign you up, take the money, then will do absolutely nothing to help you further or to cancel. I am in collections for aTravelers policy he would not cancel for me. Travelers cannot and will not cancel with out paperwork from the agent. Buyer beware on GIA Rick Management and Peter ashley.
