We have used the online tax programs in the past. There always seemed to be a problem. So we tried HSJ 3 years ago and have been amazed by the ease of getting our taxes done every year. Karen S is wonderful, helpful, and always gets back to you in a timely fashion when contacting her.

I have used TurboTax in the past and always had doubts if I was getting my full potential refund. This year I went to Heather and have had total confidence throughout the entire process! I had a couple questions along the way and when I emailed her, she responded quickly and answered all my questions in a way I could understand.

My husband and I turned in our forms last year for the agency to complete, no need for appt they contact with questions and would complete. Almost a year later our taxes are not done and no communication or updates. Poor communication and unreliable. Will not be returning with our buisness. I do not recommend hsj & Associates. You might be better using Turbo tax...

I've been taking my taxes to HSJ & Associates for the last 2-3 years and have no complaints. They were awesome about explaining everything, even when I had questions about property taxes and how to claim a new house and what I needed to provide for that. Stay away if you're running a business that's anything larger than just yourself. We had used HSJ for 5 years before it was time to leave and find a competent firm. The issues on timeliness, mistakes and poor advice kept stacking up and became too critical in our business.
