Wife was sent there by Scottsbluff county. All I have to say is exactly what John said. Almost word for word the same things I would've wrote. Visitation day has been cancelled for an undetermined about of time. I get the feeling the billing department is more important then the needs of the "client" is how the patients there are referred to. I can't find any where what their success rate is. Everyone I know of that has gone there has relapsed. Wife is there on a court order so it seems they are in no hurry really to get her moved to next steps. But I'm sure billing department is getting those invoice out for payment like click work.

This was one of the worst experiences of my life. Glenda day is very judgemental and one sided. The whole place is a joke. I put my heart and soul into the program but I was constantly manipulated and lied to. One of the counselors there named Alex comes in hungover at least three times a week. I heard Colleen say twice that they took anyone in just because they needed the money. Glenda takes home her choice of the donated food while the clients mostly eat expired food. Please don't waste your time or money. This place is a scam ran by some very evil lying sexist women.

This place saved my life. Yes the program is intense but it works. They take sobriety seriously here, it's life or death. These people will walk to the ends of the earth with you. No, it's not easy, but nothing worth having comes easy. They genuinely care about you and the goals you want to meet in life. Everybody's program is individualized. I walked into these rooms in 2010 and I've been sober and much healthier for u years now. These people literally have saved so many lives and will save yours too if you let them. I will forever have love for this place and the people here!

Reading these negetive post upsets me because they are coming from people who are close minded. These women care and save lives they help those who are wanting the help. Glenda is an amazin person and listens and understands her clients to hear people talk down on her n the other counselors is very upseting. I think hsi is a god sent

My experience there was a joke. I was the only person in that place who didn't show up in handcuffs, yet I was treated badly. The main counselor was Glenda Day, and I wasn't able to get in a word edge wise, she laughed at me because I wasn't able to word things in way she felt my words should be worded, I was never able to give her a complete answer because she wouldn't stop cutting me off in the middle of me talking. It bothered me quite a bit, because she had no problem communicating with the others who were brought there in cuffs, Which makes it clear that those kind of people get the bills paid, It pays more money to those who work there to have people like that in their so-called clinic. I was there because I jumped through every single hoop I was asked to jump through and yet I was treated like I didn't belong. I was there because I actually needed help. I was there of my own free will, but someone like me is not as bankable compared to those who have the option of jail or rehab, therefore I was treated disrespectfully by Glenda Day. She did nothing but nag me and bully me to the point where I chose to just leave that clinic behind. If I had not, I would have gotten angry and did something very out of character for a guy like me. Glenda Day is a bully, and that's there is too it.

Im very impressed with how the staff and techs work with people at HSI. They care for everyone as if they are family. This place saved my life and I couldn't be more thankful for every tool and learning experience that I have gained here. I would recommend HSI to anybody that wants help and wants to save their own life.

These post's make me sick this is a non-profit organization, meaning donations that come to them supply you with the help you obviously need but lack the mental capacity to obtain yourself. Beginning the program and then resenting this kind selfless staff while refusing to try the methods they are trained in after a lifetime of continuous school and sessions with clients, you apparently know every method and reasoning to your life choices that lead you to this facility. You are childish and petty for posting false rumors about people who take a beating from people such as you, and will continue after you leave that facility to help if you are willing to help yourself. These women spend most of their adult lives contributing more time to individuals who either were never given a chance or never gave themselfs a chance, then their own families who deserve their attention. They have delt with thousands of people with millions of challanges in their lives, few of which care for their opinion and expertise which leads them into a dark statistic of almost 70% relapse rate along with a close to matching death rate. The odds are frighteningly against the very common know it all client blaming YOUR problems along with your stubborn, petty, and poor me lifestyle on these Woman's methods or "bullying" will of course show your incompetence. If you cannot accept that maybe there are people who can show you tuff love and turn around and show you true compassion along with a way to a potential remedy, then do them a favor and don't ask for help. Pissing your life away through drugs or jail/prison is your choice, just remember they had a choice also. For me and any addiction in my past along with my future has full faith in that facility.

HSI has helped me become way more independent and have shown me a new way to live. I definately have had rough times but with all the counslers help I have become a better person and happily sober!!!!!!!!! I love HSI and all the counslers for what they have done for me!!!!!!!!!!!
