Used ICA for Hurricane Ian. They took care of all the mitigation and they had someone out fast. They dealt with my insurance company and made sure I received what I was due according to my policy. Would use again for a hurricane claim. Highly recommended

If you are looking for a good public adjuster, do not even consider ICA Public Ajusters. We were completely taken advantage of beyond anything you could possibly imagine by their employee, Israel Pacheco , and his boss Nandor.

As public adjusters, they were supposed to analyze our insurance policy, verify our benefits and approve work to be done for water restoration And mold remediation. As public adjusters it’s their responsibility to analyze the policy and advise us. They failed in every respect. We now have a huge bill from the restoration company and our claim was denied. They approved the work several times advising that we had coverage and we do not.
Had they done their job and advised us properly we could’ve avoided this huge debt that we have.

If you use a public adjuster make sure that their competent and their adjusters are employees not subcontractors. Don’t make the same mistake we did. Remember, stay away from ICA PUBLIC ADJUSTERS

Working with ICA has been great! I Highly recommend them, as they helped with our Hurricane claim so much, and attained a much higher settlement than if we had worked with the Insurance company ourselves. They are professional, and we greatly appreciate their services.

During hurricane Ian I called ICA to help me through the daunting process and very pleased. The first check came 3 months into the process but what really made it worth while was the fact that they assisted in helping get the rest of the money needed for additional repairs that were put aside cause I used what I received. They walked me through everything and always answered my text or emails, concerns. I would definitely recommend this company for friends or relatives looking for help. Thanks again!

I am pleased to reccommend Mr. Rony Charles of ICA Public Adjusters as a thouroughly knowledgeable and personable Public Adjuster. A good Public Adjuster is worth his or her weight in gold, so to speak. Thanks. Stay tuned for final results.UPDATE :So far, it's like yelling into a cave..with no echo. UPDATE: ICA has been unable to make any progress with my claim. I get conflicting information after I push for it. FINAL UPDATE: ICA Public Adjusters needs to improve their communications with customers. They were successful in securing additional monies for us, which ALMOST covered our losses. In Florida, I consider that a miracle!

I’m not sure how they have a 4.9. Other than a good amount of these reviews were done after the initial visit and NOT after the whole process has completed. I know one review is an employee.

I’m filing a complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance.

I’ll try to make this as short as possible. My claim was from early 2022. Maybe they have better service in Florida, but my case was in Texas. I was told I needed my entire roof replaced. Tera came out and was super nice and knowledgeable. After that visit things progressed slowly which is fine until later into the process. It got to the point that she never responded to me after several weeks. I was told so many times that the wait was worth it. Making it sound like I was going to get some sort of nice settlement.

I finally called the main office and they went to reach out to her and realized she had quit awhile back. Supposedly my case was moved to someone else who never called me. After calling them, what seemed like a thousand times, there was finally a settlement to replace only one slope of my roof. They are bad at answering their main line and there is only one person who answers it. I had to keep calling to get them to get my case moving as I had sold my house and I needed my claim with my insurance company closed.

I had to pay the 3rd party adjuster, they sent, $750 out of pocket for his inspection. Trying to get ahold of him was hard. ICA gave me his number since they couldn’t reach him. Which to me is bad that the client has to do that. Makes you think he was ignoring them for a reason. He told me he never worked with Tera and instead with her boyfriend. Who was not who I worked with. He even said ICA is weird at making me pay him versus them and reducing it out of my settlement check. I ended up getting under $10,000 to repair that part of the roof AND the interior damage. My deductible was $7,200. I also ended up giving them just under $300 for their cut.

When they sent the check, they knew I had sold the house, they sent it to my old address. Which it’s my fault for not telling them the new one, but they also never told me they were overnighting the check and that the overnight fee of $12.50 was coming out of said check. Some how someone at my old address had signed for the package that contained the check. Which is really weird because when I reached out to my realtor, she said that the person that purchased the house wasn’t even living in the house. So I had to talk to the accounting person at ICA to let her know to get the check canceled because clearly somebody signed for it and kept the check. So she told me that she reported it to the bank and they were investigating it. A couple weeks later I reached out to her to find out what was going on. She was telling me that I needed to produce the check in order to have it canceled. I was like that’s not how it works. If a check is lost or stolen how can you produce the check? I was also wondering how she said she was going to talk to the bank and never reached out to tell me she needed the check. I finally got my check, but the whole thing was not worth the hassle.

ICA is the best! Erick was great, he walked us through the whole process. My insurance company tried to underpay my claim and ICA fought to get me a fair settlement. I couldn't thank them enough. I highly recommend this company!

It would be a disservice to the community not to share my experience with ICA Public Adjuster. Once you are a client it is hard to get a person to answer your call text or email but worst than that is how they try and scam you for whatever check you get at the end on 02/16 I spoke with Chelsea and asked her how much do I owe ICA from my incoming check she told me $2790 I said ok as soon as I get the check I will make the payment. I received the check and called in to ask if my husband can bring it in and make the payment rather then mailing the check I was told yes I ask for the payment information they said cashiers check or money order I repeated the amount $2790 this time I was speaking with a Delmy who said yeah and then oh no there is a balance for one of the tech that came out it will be an extra $500 I asked for the invoice so that we can pay she said she will send it to me 10 minutes later I received a call back from Delmy stating that I owe them $4290 in a span of 1 week they magically added $1500 in fees to the total that is literarily highway robber which I will not stand for. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE HIRING THEM.
