I file a claim on my homeowner's insurance, they send me a check for $1000 to fix water damage in my basement. then they proceed to raise my premium from $700 per year to $2500 per year. without notification. now my house payments have almost doubled due to escrow shortage and I cannot afford that. goodbye forever.
