I'd like to give a shout-out for this insurance agency, and for Ivy in particular. My father died last fall, and we were getting the run-around from the State Farm corporate office regarding his life insurance policy. My folks live in Oro Valley, and even though they didn't have a local agent, Ivy stepped up and took care of us. I was so grateful and impressed; Ivy said it was just common decency. Pretty remarkable.

Jay refused my business because I received a quote from another office. I intitially contacted the wrong office and planned to go with them anyway but decided I didn't want to do business with them in the end.
I contacted Jay's office explained the entire situation to Ivy and she said, No problem send me the info via email. I emailed and was denied service because I already got a quote. It's your business so you can handle it as you see fit but just so you know it was extremely unprofessional how you handle this situation. Their office is over 15 miles from my house and yours is like 3 miles. I prefer to do business closer to home rather than father away AND it's my money so I can spend it were I decide. You and the other agent lost State Farm several lines of business. I will be contacting corporate regarding both of your offices. I am sure it's not the first time someone called the wrong office and changed were they do business after getting started.

Jay and his staff are always helpful. They take the time to listen and recommend what I should include in my policy, or don't need to includes in my policy. They take the time to explain what various things mean in my policy where I am able to understand it. Then they go the extra mile to be sure I get all the discounts I qualify for. I've been with Statefarm for 10+ yrs all of them with Jay as my agent and although I live across Tucson from their office I would never think of moving to an agent closer to me.

Jay and his assistant's are amazing! I left one voice message and within a half hour I got a call back from Jay himself. Now that is some small town charm with a big time company behind him. Jay Salazar is best described by saying that I have never met a more professional and service-oriented person in my life. He has seen me through auto accidents and a major house fire with calm assurance and totally responsive service. When you are in need of an insurance agent who will take care of you and your family with prompt, efficient and CARING service, this is the guy! I am deeply appreciative of all that he has done to help me through difficult life situations. He made big problems manageable and then solved them.
