I find dealing with insurance stuff very stressful. But, every time I talk to Harlan he is both incredibly calming and never judgmental about whatever my (often self-imposed) issue is. He just gets it handled. He’s also very good at thinking about different ways of meeting your needs that might reduce your premiums. That requires patience which Harlan has in spades. Jennifer is lucky to have him in her team! Don’t hesitate to ask for Harlan when you call.

I’d like to comment on the excellent service provided by Franchesca at the Jennifer Paris Agency. I’ve worked with Franchesca twice over the last two years. The first time, Franchesca helped us compare our existing policy with State Farm’s offering, but we decided not to proceed due to some unrelated concerns. I recently asked Franchesca to again help compare our overall insurance needs, including home, auto, and umbrella coverage. Before starting, Franchesca asked to take a bit of time to verify our actual requirements. She was concerned about ensuring that our needs were met, and not just trying to provide us with a lower-cost offering. As it turned out, State Farm’s overall pricing was very competitive compared to our previous provider. Based on price alone, we probably would have switched to State Farm. But Franchesca’s insight and guidance was fantastic! We have since switched to State Farm and have reduced our overall cost; however, we now have a higher degree of confidence that we have the correct products and coverage levels. Very disappointing communication and knowledge from this agency. I moved my policies from a primarily digital carrier to this State Farm agency expecting better service and guidance from an agent, big mistake here that costed me time and money, which they don’t seem to care about.

Complete lack of knowledge of their own underwriting process, which I would expect from a broker, not an exclusive State Farm agent. Never told me my home would be inspected or that it required home security until after I moved my policies. Came back with multiple new requirements and required me to follow up and manage the communication with multiple days between critical follow ups. This agency manages customers like transactions. I could have been a big customer here and they blew it.
