I called last week because my renewal had jumped up by $140 per month!!! I was upset when I called because we've had no accidents. I spoke to Taylor Proctor who explained it was due to market conditions (what I hear every time I call, so I understood that). She went through my policy to make sure I had all my discounts and said I could increase my deductible amounts to try and lower it further. She also noticed that the previous agent had not applied my Defensive Driver discount, so she did this. My policy increase was reduced to $40 per month. I wasn't happy with that overall because we are good drivers and I'm at more risk now with larger deductibles, but I knew this was outside of Taylor's hands. She was lovely to work with, was respectful, and put my mind at ease that we had explored all our options. FOr that reason, I give this review 4 stars. I took off a star from the review because I don't feel like AllState do enough for their good drivers. I shouldn't have an increase if I didn't have any claims or tickets. I should not be paying for other bad driver's claims.

Just about the worst Allstate agent you could come across.

So I have been an Allstate customer since 2012. When I moved to Columbus David Askew was my original agent. They were phenomenal, the ladies in the office were kind and always on top of things. He was bought out by Miranda Mobley, I have always recommended my previous agents and the ladies that worked in the office. Now a few months ago Mr. Baker took over Ms. Mobley's agency. They didn't bother to inform me that any changes were being made to my agent. When you call they are rude & they don't want to help. They don't care about their long term customers. They would rather you cancel than correct a billing error from their side. It's quite sad that money is more important than loyalty. I requested to cancel and they did not even bother to ask why. I am highly disappointed in this agent and his entire office staff. Would NOT recommend Joseph Baker. Save yourself the time and trouble.
