Kent's office has supposedly undergone huge staffing changes in the last year and they've totally dropped the ball. We were extremely happy customers with them until about a year ago. We bought a new home and they assigned us a home insurance policy, then promptly dropped that policy weeks later (AFTER we closed on the home) saying our home was "uninsurable". We shrugged it off, got it insured with someone else, and kept our other policies open. We even opened a life insurance policy with Kent after that.

Cut to July 2024, we learned Country had dropped ALL of our policies the May prior without any notification. In the past, our payments have auto-renewed with no issues. Even if a payment had been an issue, they didn't even have the decency to reach out after years of being their customer. When Kent's office called to schedule a virtual year-end review on July 31st, I was eager to get it all squared away. But guess who never called? KENT. They didn't even answer when I called, so I left a message with a complaint. Kent's assistant called back without so much as an apology for missing the meeting, and frankly their bad service, and only addressed rescheduling the virtual appointment.

We switched to State Farm today and found out that life insurance policy was never submitted. Just to add insult to injury. And since our vehicles have been uninsured for months, we're having to pay a higher rate. We rated them so highly when our service first started with them, and now we'll never recommend Kent or Country financial to anyone.

I was referred to this insurance company for home insurance when I was buying my house. I received a quote and paid for the full year upfront. However, when I followed up on my policy, I discovered it had been canceled in December. I never received any notification because the company supposedly “mailed” a letter to my previous address, not my new one. Since I had moved, I forwarded my mail but did not receive the letter at my new address.

I requested a refund, and the company issued a check to my previous address TWICE, despite providing my NEW address to both the assistant and billing department. They also informed me that it typically takes a month to process and issue a stop payment on the check, so this entire time I have been waiting patiently and haven’t received anything.

I’ve been paying this company for almost twenty years and out of the blue they say they are not going to renew me because of a habitation score I never put a claim in not even during the earthquake and they just took my money for all these years just to say sorry can’t do nothing for you !!!!!!!
