I have been a State Farm customer for many years now. I've always had great service and nothing to complain about. I don't usually post reviews but I feel it would be unjust if I didn't. Brad Trawick has been the State Farm agent I have been doing business with lately. My wife has had a bad luck streak with totaling cars here lately and Brad Trawick has helped us through both of them. Every time I call the local office Brad Trawick is the one that picks up. I think to myself ... "I'm glad he picked up because he knows me and my situation and is always a pleasure to talk to." Brad Trawick has been there from start to finish with every question or issue I have. I have emailed him quite a few times and he is always very quick to respond and resolve my issue or just answer my questions. I've had good reps in the past but none that I remember. Brad Trawick is one that you will remember. He is one of the best!

Horrible customer service and follow through. Over the past few years, I've moved a few times and it has been a nightmare getting my address corrected. The address was once changed to a city I've never even lived in.

I had a homeowners claim last year and called about coverage. He had no clue what the policy covered and referred me to corporate. Apparently, he doesn't understand the policies he sells or just didn't want to deal with questions.

I'm now communicating directly with corporate to cancel policies.

Update/clarification: I have no issues with State Farm itself. Had a great experience with the previous agent, but the service received by this office made me move all of my policies to another company.

Kevin Buffington's office used to be a 5 star rated business but now I would give it a -5 star rating if I could!
My family has been with State Farm for more than 25 years and we have had multiple insurance policies ( multiple auto policies, 7 life policies and our homeowners policy) have been with Kevin's office for more than a decade. We have been happy with the customer service that his office has provided until the last 1 1/2 years. At first it was little things like not making a change or returning a phone call on occasion. I can say that over the last 14 months it has taken a dive. I have not received any response from his office on any of my questions and issues. I have kept my policies at his office eventhough I now live 90 minutes away from Columbus for the last 3 years. I have left messages on the answering machine, with someone on the phone and even tried to get him to call me back by contacting the after hours service. I can't even get a licensed person to talk to so I can have my policies moved. I don't know what has been going on but there's no excuse for the total lack of professionalism in his office.
