I usually do not write reviews, but the process of getting life insurance with this organization was very frustrating. I applied with them last year and went through the process of getting my blood drawn. One of the results was way off the charts, thus making me ineligible for life insurance. I spoke with my doctor and was retested. My results came back normal. My doctor said that their results must have been in error, because I would be near death if their numbers were true. So, I reapplied with them six months later, giving them my most recent test results from my doctor's office. They assured me that I would be approved without any issues. I even gave them permission to go to my doctor and get whatever they needed from them to prove that I was not at risk of passing away anytime soon. I even paid my premium for a full year at that time because once again, they assured me that this would be approved without any issues. Fast forward another month, and I get a refund check in the mail. The next day, I get a letter advising that I had not sent them all the needed documents to approve my life insurance policy, and that they cancelled everything. I have confirmation emails from them advising that they had everything they needed. I did not get any additional phone calls, text messages, or emails from the insurance salesperson advising that I needed to send them anything else. Overall, I am very displeased with the service and the broken promises provided by the KofC. I recommend that you find life insurance from an organization that does what they say they will do, and not jerk you around for months on end without any communication.

After a big life change I needed to reassess my life insurance needs. I had a small policy that my father had taken out then given to me from when I was a child. I called the KofC to see their rates. I was amazed at the quality, price and level of service. I wish I had called them 10-15years ago. I took out new policies for myself and my Children. I am closing fairly old ones from a different insurer and putting the cash balances from them to pre-pay my new policies. They are just better policies with better coverage and lower cost!

It has been almost 10 years since I talked to a K of C insurance rep. I received a letter that I had the chance to add more insurance, so I called. My area rep, Craig Harris, came to my home and told me a lot of info that I didn't know- how life insurance works, how I can get my kids their own policies, and that I can also contact him for long-term planning like wills and estate planning. I felt like he cared and took real interest in educating us about the available services from the K of C life insurance.
