Drew Forrester managed my investments here for close to 4 years. If you prefer a pre-programmed portfolio and communication that is efficient but not warm, he's serviceable.

At one point, a recommendation he made caused an unexpected complication to my tax return, and I asked if he or the tax advisors who are part of his firm could advise me on it (and I was willing to pay for a consultation with the tax advisors). His advice was that they were too busy to help (even if I got an extension and waited until after the tax deadline) and I should "call H&R Block". When I said that was unacceptable, he eventually relented and was able to connect me with an accountant at Krilogy who answered my questions helpfully.

More recently, I became concerned about how the unstable and impulsive decision making in the US government might affect my investments. He told me that I should never let politics influence my financial decisions. I said that my concern is that this is a long-term geopolitical shift, not short-term volatility or mere politics, and he completely dismissed that possibility. When I asked to have some of the bonds in my portfolio invested outside the US rather than in US Treasuries, based on my understanding of these long term shifts, he made no effort to suggest investment options; instead, he cut me loose as a client, and said that anyone who would do what I was asking would be a bad advisor.

So if you think Trump is running the economy in line with the norms of the last 80 years, such that no changes should be made based on current events, you can listen to Drew's advice. If you think investing in America right now is equivalent to investing in one of Trump's many companies that went bankrupt, you should find a different financial advisor.
