I want to begin this review by stating I normally do not write google reviews but since this office does not have any, I feel compelled to share my positive experience. My husband and I grew up without much and have worked very hard for what we have. We have made several (very expensive) financial blunders along the way having no clue what to do with money. We recently found ourselves with a modest sum from the sale of our house and we knew we did not want to squander it. We scheduled an initial consultation (completely complimentary) with Dan Funderburk. Our appointment was via Zoom to facilitate our newborn's napping. Dan was clearly knowledgable and passionate about his job. He connected with us on several levels especially being a parent to younger children. Dan took a big picture overview of our finances and proceeded to go through nearly every aspect we could have thought about with specific numbers at a zoomed in level. At the end of the appointment, and equipped with tools and knowledge of our next steps I asked when we should plan on meeting Dan next. I was surprised that he transparently advised our current financial position would not be worth their fees at this time. I expected to be sold a product or service, especially for over an hour of his time (for free). Following the appointment, Sondra emailed me a succinct summary of everything we talked about with the specific, measurable, and actionable steps we can take on our timeline. There were also direct links to the specific pages of information, accounts, and companies we had talked about. I would love to speak for the whole office, but since my appointment with Dan and Sondra only, I know they are in your financial best interests. I encourage anyone with money to call them and get an idea of where your finances are now but more importantly, where they could be.
