I highly recommend Peggy Martin, Public Adjuster, Lioness Claims LLC. She did a fantastic job representing us after our home was damaged by a tornado. Our insurance company of 21 years determined a settlement amount that was totally insufficient to repair all the damage. They quickly marked our claim as “Closed” and would not return our texts, phone calls or emails. A neighbor recommended Pete Price and Peggy Martin of Lioness Claims LLC. We were extremely impressed with Peggy’s credentials and knowledge of the insurance industry as well as her ability to make you feel at ease and well represented during a stressful situation.
She immediately reviewed our policy, took photos and did a thorough inspection of the damage. She put together a detailed cost of repairs estimate and took over all correspondence with the insurance company. When the insurance company failed to respond to her claim submission she pushed forward and escalated our claim to the Mediation process.
Mediation took place over Zoom and with the exception of us answering a few simple questions, Peggy handled the entire procedure on our behalf. And WOW! This is where her expertise and negotiating skills really shine! She thoroughly presented our claim with photo documentation and researched cost of repairs. She handled each low offer professionally and politely and continued to use her extensive knowledge to explain why the offers where unacceptable. Her tenacity was amazing! She made it clear that she was there for a fair settlement and stood ready to take our claim to the next step if necessary. Peggy kept at it until the insurance company finally agreed to a reasonable amount that would cover all our damage. Her persistence resulted in a settlement amount that was ten times the insurance company’s initial mediation offer!! An amount we could not have received without Peggy’s assistance.
Peggy is definitely a skilled Public Adjuster and she is also a person who truly cares about her clients. Throughout the entire process she kept us informed and was available for any questions or concerns. She was even kind enough to meet us at our bank with our settlement check. She really put in the extra effort to make sure we were fairly compensated by the insurance company that was supposed to be there when we needed them. They were not… but Peggy was!
