I cancelled my policy and was billed anyway. I called and the billing department was open but apparently my policy was billed under a separate department which is conveniently closed that day. Interesting because they are able to bill while they’re closed but can’t discuss the fraudulent transaction.

EDITED TO ADD: I emailed the stupid email address below and they told me they would mail me a check that I would hopefully receive in 2-4 weeks. Oh, and it would be over $60 less than what they illegally withdrew after my cancellation.

Really bad company that wants to take advantage of customers. I paid my premium on time and get a notice of threat to cancel for no payment. This company deserves below a one star rating and should be reported to consumer affairs.

Worst auto insurance ever. They stole my totaled car and keep saying that the settlement check is in the mail, but it never arrives. They are liars and they helped with absolutely nothing after years of paying them $150 a month. They are paying a service to hide their bad reviews here on Google. Do not use this company. They are liars and thieves, and absolutely garbage.

I was involved in a collision with a driver who has Mapfre Insurance, it has been HELL. If you ever need to speak to the claims department please expect to be screamed at, interrupted, shut up, and over all just harassed. Ive spoken to three different agents and they are all on edge for some reason, theres no descalating because it seems like they get rewarded for speaking over you/mistreating you.

worst car insurance ever, avoid this scamers, I don't know how the california département of insurance allows this pseudo company operate. My car broke and I called them to asked for a towing service, they told me to hire one and send the bill for a refund, that's what I did. now they say that I'm a liar. and they not gonna pay for it.

Run , 🏃 don’t walk !!! Run . Definitely not worth it . Our vehicle got stolen got found by sdpd when they found it ,it was so damaged . They refused to pay anything not one dime . The car was repo after months because we couldn’t keep it and they never paid for anything they requested our phone records our call logs which we provide , they are the worst . I promise you , it’s worth paying a few more bucks to get a better insurance. They just take your money and they won’t pay a dime .

If I could give this company zero stars I would. They raised my rate up without any explanation, I cancelled my policy and they still charged me the renewal fee of $350. It has been a whole month and I still haven’t received a refund. I’ve been calling, no one answers. They sent me a letter saying I OWE THEM $30? EXCUSE ME? I’ve sent you emails, no answer. If I don’t get my money back, we’re about to have a huge problem. DO NOT GET INSURED BY THIS SHADY COMPANY.
