After reviewing tax returns for the past three years, several errors were found which suggested I need another tax preparer. I reviewed several and decided to have MDA do my amended returns. This turned out to be a big plus. Where the previous preparer said I owed thousands in taxes, MDA found errors that suggested this liability would be erased with amended returns. I will rely on MDA in the future for all of my tax returns. What a great place to business with that ensures quality and accuracy.

It’s unfortunate to write this, though I’m hoping so will help companies looking for tax and book keeping services.
We moved from a local Arvada CPA after their retirement. We were referred to MDA though our CPA did announce they don’t know MDA the company personally, but had interviewed several tax preparers. After having a consult with my wife and I, we stated we wanted all the same tax preparations as our previous company, and laid out our plan. Then once we started with MDA, it was hard to get emails or calls returned. Meaning I had to email and call multiple times and separate matters. Next was our end of year tax filing and how much we owed due to their lack of quarterly projections, which we emailed and called stating we notice are not being completed. Weeks later, maybe more than 4, they replied and gave one option that week to meet. When my wife replied she’d need to confirm with me we could make that date and time, there was no reply. Nore did they answer the next calls and emails requesting a new consult date- or simply a phone call would work since we just needed to get quarterly projections. We decided to interview a new local CPA… who when reviewing our previous year taxes by MDA pointed out the multiple items that should have been deducted. Items that once pointed out, we reviewed our previous taxes from the years at our retired CPA and noticed we done. This lack in professional tax preparations by MDA affects our bottom line and livelihood. It’s unfortunate but true in our experience. In seeing the type of complaints under the poor reviews, I’m here to attest they do not return calls/emails timely if at all, and I do not know who filed our taxes at their office, but lots of items were missed. And when quarterly / monthly projections are a must, I would assume a quality accountant would catch it. Bummed but lesson learned. edit 9/25/24 I appreciate your response. Thank you.
