I wish I could give these guys a zero. Our tow company recovered a big rig they insured that had a major wreck on the highway. The road was closed, the load was spilled and the recovery was a two day job. It required an encroachment permit and traffic control, which we paid $7500 out of pocket to perform for them. The customer IS INSURED BY THESE PEOPLE! They are refusing to pay saying he doesn't have "towing" insurance. Make no mistake, this is NOT a tow, this is a recovery. We mitigated their legal and general liability. We prevented more property damage from being done. They are refusing to pay out on this accident claiming they don't owe because he isn't covered for towing. Towing is for breakdown and roadside service, for those of you who aren't familiar. When you have a wreck, it is your legal and general liability and property damage, that pay out in these cases. They are a FRAUD! Stay as FAR AWAY from them as you can! They will not pay and now we have to sue the customer and them to try and recover. I feel bad for the guy who bought into this insurance. He said he was paying $17k per month for coverage.
