This company has been a LIFESAVER. I had never had a house fire before, as most people haven’t, I had no idea how to navigate my insurance claims, pay off the current mortgage or any other things that came up during this process. The Michigan Fire Claims team has been AMAZING. Every time I call, they answer, or call right back if they are in a meeting, emails are always answered, if they don’t have the answer for me in that moment, they go searching until they can find the answer. I have never seen a more detailed contents team, it was truly phenomenal work in getting my family the most for our contents. The construction/building Dept got us a great pay out for what our home was worth. They know all the rules of insurance to assure you the best pay out. My family and I personally left that house behind and sold to an investor, and we are now moving into our dream home, which we could have never purchased without the help of Michigan Fire Claims and the amazing payouts we got. Believe me, you do not want to try to navigate this disaster by yourself, this company works for YOU and they are there for YOU. 110% Worth having on your side!

So my house caught on fire in October and I received a piece of mail from Michigan fire claims I was going to give them a call, but I was dealing with a lot. We are at the house today and Rod showed up. Luckily he did. He filled us full of knowledge and a better understanding of What is going to happen and what could happen. I am forever grateful that he showed up today without me even having to call the company but I am glad he did because with everything going on I totally forgot to give them a call.

I had the best experience with Nik Kalag from Michigan Fire Claims. I spoke with him on the phone on the night of the fire. And Nik came in person early the next morning. Nik reviewed the fire damage and explained in detail step by step what we should do and what to expect during the whole process with my home and home insurance carrier. We were given what turned out to be a very realistic timeline for the final cash reconciliation from our insurance carrier.
Michigan Fire Claims also arranged for three unassociated business vendors to come to my home to remove everything. Either these items were cleaned or restored or were put on an itemized loss list which was then presented to my home insurance company.
What gave me the most confidence with Michigan Fire Claims was when the only time I spoke with my insurance company's fire claims adjuster, he expressed relief that I was working with Nik as he knew his business reputation was of the highest standard.
Working with Michigan Fire Claims insured that I did not have the additional worry about how I would be able to make my house a home again.

Unfortunately, one of my rental properties experienced fire damaged. 😞 I was contacted my Michigan Fire Claims who explained their purpose and methods for going to bat for me when dealing with challenging insurance companies. Gary and Rodney were patient and thorough in their explanation of the process. I ran into a slight hiccup with the insurance coverage agreement; however, Gary worked on it and resolved the issue. What was really important to me was that he stayed in consistent communication with me regarding my claim status. I would just like to say if you have State Farm, it's best to get these guys but don't wait. Get them immediately and have them work on your case. This was my very first house fire did not know anything about how to handle it was just going with the insurance company just signing papers until I started asking questions. Then I got a phone call from Nick Michigan fire very helpful and explaining everything willing to go out of the way for me and willing to handle everything for me and keeping me updated if it wasn't for Nick and his crew I probably wouldn't have got anything from the house fire and I would have owed the insurance company that's the way it was going.
