Gave ONE star because the staff members were friendly! I was given a quote by Misty. But when I returned to the office within a couple of days, it wasn't saved in their system. The agent had to call the owner at home bc she'd called in that day. But apparently could not amend it over the phone. I signed up anyway at a much higher rate under the impression that it would be adjusted later. After two months it had not been fixed, I tried several times to reach her but to no avail! I stopped paying and went back to my original insurance company - GEICO! 2 weeks later, I received a bill for around $20. I returned it with a note stating my dissatisfaction and refusal to pay for the few days that they claim I was covered and owed for. Shortly thereafter I received a 'collections letter'!

I expected to have better communications and small business relationships with this company. Instead I was treated beyond poorly. Surprising, as my family had been with her for more than 15 years! However a chance IS coming for them as well! Years of loyalty doesn't mean a damn thing in this world anymore!

Misty is a great agent! She is always ready help and answers any questions you have! Her staff is amazing!!! Every time I stop in I’m always greeted with a smile. Definitely worth looking at when you are thinking about insurance.

I guarantee this lady funnels claims to her husbands body shop. Its called Vista Auto Care. They tried it with me and several friends. That's wrong and she knows it but she gets away with it. That's if she even gets this terrible company to pay the claim in the first place. I would drive without insurance before I ever put my trust in this lady.

Does not return calls, promises to correct mistakes and doesn't. Only answers the phone if it's the main office calling her. Do not use her or American Family Insurance if you want insurance,
