A horrible place for your loved one to go. Don't bother sending money for their books either. They will cash the check and say they didn't get it. We've been leaving messages and my sons been asking about his money for 3 weeks now. Pathetic!! They must just keep it for themselves. Also they didn't have therapists or counselors for the first 3 weeks he was there. They play board games and call that therapy for suicidal patients? Jenga and Sorry Wow.....Don't send your suicidal loved there under any circumstance!

I was misdiagnosed at this hospital, and still haven't heard back from any politician to speak about change. "No news is good news.." but I have seen employees put emphasis on keeping appearances vs actual patient care. You could tell someone that a little old man is dripping blood all over the floor from his head- and after 30 minute phone call with your momma you go check on him and he is STILL bleeding all over the floor being ignored..and when you get a little bitchy and speak up again- THE NURSE will go start cleaning the blood off the floor before she puts a damn bandaid on his head. I was warned my on my 1st visit that I needed to get out of the STATE OF MONTANA because of the policies with mental health patients and law enforcment. My life would have been different if I would have packed and escaped the state sooner, but God asked me to go back. Nate was right, and if a ex Army man can see a pattern of abuse as an EMPLOYEE- he should be able to report it and actually see a change. I hope our new secretary of defense will help look at the war at home, and hold hospitals like warm springs to higher standards OR SHUT THEM DOWN! It is a scam to force patients to recieve abuse, especially when tax payers are funding it.

Good luck trying to call a loved one. It often takes 3-4 attempts to get staff to answer the phone on the Spratt unit. My father-in-law reports that he isn't getting bathed regularly. How convenient that he was showered the day we were "scheduled" to visit. No one could give us a clear answer about what we could bring when we visited. Too much turnover and/or traveling staff perhaps? The entrance to Spratt is filthy. I can't imagine what's beyond the front door! No bathroom or vending for visitors. The closest town is 20 miles away if you need a drink or a bathroom. Pretty inhumane for visitors, especially elderly visitors. The staff seemed very impatient as we were giving hugs and final goodbyes. I hope this place gets shut down!!!

A terrible place to work and Terrible place to put your loved one. Patients attacked patients and the workers So bad so they have to go to ER and have emergency surgery. They also put civil patient in the forensic unit Which is against the law. It is also known that meat that comes in to feed the patients written on the boxes states not for human consumption, but yet is fed to the patients. Oh, and I can’t leave out that the covid test kits that they have and use are expired. This place is a wreck

Too busy worried about who is sitting in their vehicle than worrying about why you all lost federal funding. Patrolling the outside but patients are dying inside. Sad and pathetic

Hello, I was a patient at warm springs for 3 months approximately 1 year ago. Although I do appreciate best efforts, I have to be honest. Warm springs doesn't have the best staff and many of them are rude and lack a serious social skills and often times awareness. Upon arrival I was treated like an inmate... How warming. Later On I was placed in a cell for (roughly) 2 weeks confinement, no toilet given a 3 meals a day as well as a 1 liter empty plastic jug to do my business in. During solitary they rarely would let me out to use a real toilet, I was often mocked by staff and not taken to any form of care. I wasn't the type of patient to cause problems or make their job harder. I'm leaving a review because I was discharged with a nasty one... That wasn't true. Warm springs is an embarrassment to the mental health service.

Awful. No matter what illness you come in with, you’re leaving with PTSD. The staff are neglectful and abusive. One staff member told me she could not treat me with dignity nor respect because “you are not on my caseload; I don’t have the time.” She did, however, find the time to call my spouse and suggest they move my discharge date from the following day out an additional week because I was “volatile and unstable.” Just awful.
