Ashley and team are the best in the biz! Their name should be THE BEST Mountain Top Escrow. They were very communicative, handled everything in a timely manner, and answered any and all questions we had throughout the process. This is the third escrow we have done with Mountain Top Escrow. We had no problems with the first two, which were some time ago. This escrow has been a complete disaster. They didn't send documents when they were supposed to, on at least 2 occasions. We then had to scramble to close. But the real problem was at, and after the closing. A week after the closing and I still have no settlement statement. I had to ask several times for the exemption form from the state 3 1/3% withholding tax, which I finally signed, notarized and sent back. A week later I still can't get an answer as to where that money went. They claimed they did a wire transfer to my bank on a Thursday. Upon questioning them on the following Monday the transfer mysteriously arrived at my bank. Now, and actually for some time now, they won't answer my phone calls or e-mails. I have had my realtor call them twice and they say they will do what they are supposed too, only to have nothing happen. Absolutely the worst escrow experience I have ever had. Completely unprofessional. Stay away from these people. My next task is to file a complaint with their State regulatory agency.

By far the worst escrow company I have ever worked with. Extremely unprofessional. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. Use a reputable company. I emailed our escrow officer and didn't hear back. Imagine my surprise when we were told she was on vacation for a few weeks. I have worked in escrow and never in my life does the office or their assistant not return emails and calls to customers. My mother in law asked for a courtesy signing as she doesn't live in big bear. The escrow officers reply "just go to a bank to get it notarized." No explanation of paper work or even the courtesy of walking her through them over the phone. Nice.

I couldn't be happier with this company and will use them for any future transactions. They went above and beyond with sitting on the phone with me to go over every page of paper work I needed to complete as well as providing me contacts for 1031 company's Insurance company's that service the area. I would give 10 stars if I could and will recommend.

I closed Escrow on Dec 2021. I'm not very happy with their service. Not only they charge excessive "fees". They took forever to provide my settlement statement, when I called with questions they said they don't provide answers over the phone for closed files, instead to email them. Extremely rude customer service. I don't understand how they run business.

If you can avoid using this Escrow Company do it, they don't follow through with what they charge you for. Now enforced to pay for a lawyer.. they leaving me without the heater to the winter is unacceptable
