Horrible experience dealing with them. Got approved for PAR for workers comp claim. NCA comp refused to let the vendors approved for the case work with us to try and get hearing aids for a patient. Stefanie Clifford adjustor sent our patient to several other audiology practices in attempt to cut us out from being able to dispense hearing aids to our patient of 15 years. It's been a few months and our patient still doesn't have hearing aids. Horrible carrier. Both adjustors working on the case never call me back when they say they do. I'm left with no option but to report NCA comp to the NY state of financial Services. Our patient is almost 100 years old horrible to do this to people.

I have never ever dealt with a more incompetent company! If I could give them negative stars I would! NCA comp paid for my first mri, my pt but will not pay for my surgery or 8 second mri requests to prove the injury is worse because it has been sitting for two years. The excuse is it’s in litigation. They hired an IME dr that has several complaints on Google and basically used telepathy to guess my arm measurements and lied on my IME saying my neck injury is from a separate accident and it’s from the same accident as my right arm and said I never followed up. I have 500-600 pages of medical documentation to prove otherwise! He also said I didn’t require surgery and no further treatment.. Meanwhile I have a labrum tear, my acromium plate is sitting on top of a rotator cuff that my dr thinks tore one of my rotator cuffs and that’s why I can’t lift my arm because it locks from an impingement also. During this mess they sent me a second IME request that the address was to an adjunct university campus! Then it got cancelled because once again the excuse is, it’s in litigation. Currently, I can’t raise my right arm, the pain is beyond excruciating, and I have pins and needles from my wrist to my fingers. I also had left arm bicep tendon surgery in 2021.. that surgery was fine up until 2022. In 2023 my arm started swelling around the anchors, It’s an overcompensation injury! NCAComp is saying the swelling is from a prior injury, which is 100% false! They are not doctors! I have a top notch surgeon and pt saying it’s an overcompensation injury! These people do not care that you are injured and purposely make you suffer!

Update: had to go through my private health insurance for the surgery on my right arm after the IME dr deemed I was fine! I had massive damage to my right shoulder( labrum tear, rotator cuff tear, the acromium cut into the rotator cuff, and shaved off bursa from the injury sitting for two years and NCAComp denying a second MRI 8 times!) My left arm is still swollen around the anchors. Went to a hearing about two weeks ago. NCAComp is sending me for an IME for the swelling! It gets better! It’s an orthopedic surgeon that is a knee surgeon! Bunch of incompetent morons!

Worst company!Lori Lysek is the worst very rude unprofessional. When i called one time she told me she could not hold my hand that there is more claims then just mine when I asked her a question.Never returned my calls always put me on hold and never answer call.Checks always came almost 3 weeks after the check was dated.Had to finally hire a lawyer to deal with them.I am telling everyone to contact their comp board and report their complaints about this company.PLease call the workers comp board or email them if you think that company is doing you wrong.Get a lawyer and go after them.

I need surgical procedures. I've been reaching out to my case worker. When I first nally reached someone at NCA they told me that my case worker had left.! My orthopedist has now moved to Florida and I had to find another to take my case. They have denied my doctor's script for an electric scooter. They decided I wasn't eligible. I'm 70 yrs. old with 2 bad knees & back injuries related to my claims and I need a shoulder replacement. How much worse do you have to be?

Workmen’s Comp. denied the hospitals claim because they didn’t file it within a timely manner. So now this third party is involved. They sent me paperwork and no cover letter to tell me what to do with the paperwork that’s already been filled out. There’s no contact name anywhere or an address Nothing.

I would give NCA a negative 1 if I could. I am someone who always sees some positive and right now I am struggling to find it. I have made numerous calls to my adjustors, bc they chg, and supervisors, with no call backs. Emails are rarely being written back to my doctors offices. No call backs they are telling me. I'm not getting approvals for procedures yet I can not speak to anyone. Please be better for me and others.

the worst nys comp company times a thousand don't even rate 1 star but you have to give them 1 to post will be posting regularly until I get my script of 10 years filled. Couldn't figure how they had 1.9 stars so I went back to see that all 5 stars were given by employees

I've been trying to talk to someone at NCAComp for months. No one ever answers and when you are on hold and your caller number comes up they just disconnect you. I've been trying to get milage reimbursement but don't see it ever happening. Workers comp needs to step up and replace this third party company.
