If there were a lower rating than 1, Nelson Financial Services would be the very definition and fraud and nefarious business practice. I took my taxes to them because I was told they had expertise in doing taxes for families with special need children. They took all of my pertinent information, documents, bank accounts statements, special needs trust information, home loan documents, investment accounts and everything else. They (Barbara Nelson) then failed to get my taxes done on time and filed an extension. I attempted to contact them for a follow up appointment and check the status of my return. I emailed them 7 times over a 2 month period. They didn't have the professional courtesy to return even one email. I called their offices on 9 separate occasions and left message. Again, they did not have the professional acumen to return a call. I stop by their offices on a number of occasions at different times. There was "never" anyone there. They simple just disappeared "with my entire life of documents". I have since had to ensure I have identity theft protection and other measure just to ensure this highly unethical husband and wife team of "claimed" financial services providers to do not take advantage of a family with special needs children. It's absolutely pathetic that people like this still exist.
