At this time, we could not hire any company or contractor that presented us with a certificate of insurance (COI) from Next Insurance (Palo Alto, CA). In August 2024, we hired a deck contractor who presented us with a COI from them. The contractor quit before completing the job, so we asked other contractors to give us estimates to finish. To our surprise, all of them said the substructure was faulty and would need to be rebuilt. A licensed structural engineer examined the deck and agreed. We provided these details to Next Insurance and they denied our claim. Currently, the matter remains unresolved.

Poor service, expensive pricing.Lack of communications when buying your insurance click to buy with a lack of insurance agent & claims agents are helpfull.
Leads to dissatisfaction and financial losses for your company.

What a difference a year makes, last year customer service was terrific. Called back for renewal and got AI experience that sucks. After that two more people asked me the same questions as the AI did. Very frustrating experience. Skip this company if you want reliable insurance quote.

You guys need to be more focused on your customers and taking care of claims better, faster, and with better communication than traveling. I'm still waiting on a claim for theft. You guys have everything you need and a police report. It's been over a week, and your employees don't like giving up dates or responding back in a timely manner, if not at all. Big scam !

Terrible company. No customer service. They cancelled my business policy without notification and left me uncovered in the midst of a large construction company. I would advise going with another company. I’m very unhappy with the service they provided. Save yourself the headache and go with Progressive or Gieco.

Getting a quote and details about the quote were extremely easy with this company. They provided the lowest rate, with the most coverage, for far less than any other insurance company that we contacted. We are a small production company and needed general liability insurance and they had the absolute best policy. Their service and communication is outstanding. There was never any lag in getting information and policy documents.

Impossible to get in contact with! Their phone system is horrible and roundabout. I have been trying to get in contact to cancel my policy for MONTHS! For some reason, the only page that won’t load in my portal is the one to cancel my policy! It has been like this for months. I am frustrated!
