Eli was extremely confident in his abilities to help us maximize our claim. So much so we gave him a second claim for another property. In the end he sent everything to appraisal tying our hands. We paid $760,000 for our home and 18 mo later lost everything. The county issued a letter to demo our home due to FEMA 50% substantial damages. Ocean Point stopped communication and Eli refused to answer calls or emails. We finally severed our agreement. Unfortunately the only people out is our family. The estimates from contractors are more than 4x what Eli settled for. I truly believe that our experience is not unique and the reviews here are paid for. Do your due diligence.

Very happy to strongly recommend Eli Goins from Ocean Point as an insurance adjuster. Eli was contacted after severe damage to our townhouse from Hurricane Ian. He carefully went thru & video'd damage both seen & also damage that was not easily visible.
Eli then processed our claim and we promptly received the maximum amount per our policy. Eli was also available months later to get the loss of use reimbursement payout from our policy!

So thankful to Eli Goins for his professional services following Ian. He was so supportive and helpful, even taking personal risk in navigating dangerous debris-filled waters via boat, as Captiva was inaccessible by car. In the days after Hurricane Ian, we were introduced to Eli who went through our property. His assessment on that initial visit (as to the damage we could not see) proved to be spot on.
Eli and his team managed our claim and we received a very favorable settlement.
Beyond the settlement was the fact that Eli's team managed the entire process for us. It was a relief and we are very grateful.

If you ever have a claim, I'd highly recommend you call a public adjuster FIRST, specifically Ocean Point Claims. You pay nothing but 10% of the EXTRA settlement money they can identify beyond what your insurance is going to give. My insurance adjuster, who works for my insurance company, was super nice and gave me the companies maximum settlement of $12,000 minus $6,000 deductible. When I called Eli, he identified much more damage. Eli got me $50,000 more minus $5,000 for his precision work. Eli used high tech cameras and software, found loop holes in their policies to prove his $50,000 claim to my insurance company. Thank you Eli! Eli was super professional with me and my insurance company, thorough, knowledgable, efficient, and quick.

I was more than pleased with Jacob when my insurance company failed to help me with my roof after hurricane Ian. I reached out to Ocean Point when they quickly responded to my situation. I waited patiently and they really came through for me. They sealed my house with a very strong plastic and when all was said and done... I received a settlement. I ended up with a beautiful roof and have so many compliments. It took some time but it was so worth it in the end. I could not be happier.
