Wish I could give zero stars. We were transferred to Odie from our prior pet insurance company that we loved. We were promised the same rate. Odie then sends a notice the Friday before the Monday renewal of a rate that is almost double. No heads up or time to get another insurance option. They don't respond to emails or answer their phones. I tried several times. Eventually I got to someone on chat, who we then agreed to cover my dog for the 1st month to bridge the gap between this and us getting a much better, lower insurance. She never sent the documentation I was promised. Then, later that same day someone else who saw my emails from days earlier, said they cancelled it. Completely not reading notes from the other person we talked to (if those notes exist). I've sent emails and tried their chat to sort this out and they don't respond, or answer their phone. They are a scam, terrible customer service, non-responsive, terrible prices - stay far, far away.

My 3 pet policies were transferred from ManyPets to Odie, and like many, I received a renewal that moved my monthly bill from $68 to $247 a month. I contacted Odie by phone and got no answer or return call. I emailed them and asked if I could go over the policy with someone because I was not confident that I was reading it correctly. If I was reading it correctly, I’d like to cancel the policies. I got an email back 3 days later, simply saying that my policies were cancelled at my request. No offer to go over the policies, no offer to discuss them with me…just cancelled. It’s apparent that they are pricing the ManyPets policies in a way, to encourage customers to leave. Bad customer service, bad pricing, and representatives that don’t care enough to even discuss their policies with a potential client.

My pet insurance was scheduled to transfer from ManyPets to Odie this month. I opted to cancel my policy with ManyPets because of the price increase and decreased coverage that was being offered through Odie. ManyPets cancelled the policy, but Odie created the new one anyway and billed me. I've called for days and noone answers the phone, they don't respond to the online chat during business hours, and they don't respond to email. Chose any other company other than this one. It's likely I will need to file a complaint with the BBB to get this account closed and a refund processed.

Consider this your warning, I would NOT recommend Odie pet insurance.

My policy was transferred from ManyPets to Odie. They sent me an email congratulating me on my new lower price. My premium went from $46.27/mo to $73.22/mo - a $482.02 yearly premium increase with less coverage.

As soon as I saw this increase, I sent Odie an email stating I wanted to cancel. No reply. This is a bad sign considering their website states: "If your policy is not creating happiness for you and your pet, let us know by emailing [email protected]!" and they do not return emails.

I called Odie by phone to cancel several times, no answer, nor do they return calls. In many cases a message will come on and say they are receiving an unusual amount of calls and will return your call in 2 business days, they have yet to call back. I decided to call them one last time and someone answered. It sounded like a kid, not very helpful or professional - did not seem to know anything about the policies or the company. I told them I wanted to cancel and they said okay and that ManyPets would contact me. ManyPets did send me an email stating my policy would be canceled and my January 07, 2025 payment would not be coming out. ManyPets, prompt as usual.

To confirm this cancelation was reflected in my account, I logged into the Odie website. Weird, none of my payment information was in there AND THERE IS NO WAY TO CANCEL YOUR POLICY ON THEIR WEBSITE only email.

Fast Forward, on January 8th, 2025, Odie pulled $73.22 from my account. Now I get to start all over dealing with this unorganized company. I seriously need to be compensated not only for this payment, but the amount of time being wasted trying to solve this. I can only image the nightmare associated with getting a claim paid.

This is my reminder to always put required auto payments on my CC so I can cancel and reverse payments.

Odie recently took over ManyPets, which my cat has been insured with for several years. I was severely sticker-shocked by the policy "renewal" notice sent by Odie quoting a new premium that doubled the old premium! When I reached out to Odie for clarification, they made an empty promise by email (their phone never answers) to send me a more affordable quote within 5 - 7 business days. It is now almost a month later, and I have not heard anything more from them. The switchover of ManyPets to Odie struck me as disorganized if not also gougey. Pet insurance buyers beware, especially ManyPets customers like myself who may be unwittingly switched over to much pricier policies under Odie. I plan to contact NAPHIA for industry standard advice.

I came across Odie at the recommendation of a friend, and decided to switch from my current pet insurance to Odie and I am so happy I did. A year and a half later my baby girl was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease and the team at Odie has been beyond incredible. It’s the most comprehensive pet insurance I have come across and I suggest it to all of my friends who are pet owners. No one has been disappointed ❤️

I have been a client of Odie's for almost 5 years and every single time something comes up, whether routine or emergency I have them behind me as Monty's insurance. Monty fractured his back tibia as a puppy and I didn't have coverage at that time (he was about 4-5 months old). Big, big mistake. A few years ago Monty was diagnosed with idiopathic head tremors which have since gone away, but required an ER trip, two overnights to watch for seizures as well as seeing a neurologist and Monty was covered for almost the entirety of the bill. They cover wellness routine and emergency needs and you get to pick what you want. My monthly is affordable and I have so much security knowing Monty's needs will always be covered. We love being Odie clients!

Took them over six months to process a claim. I said I wanted to cancel my account over the phone and then they processed the claim. Steer clear.
