Customer service in non existent. I'm very scared for the time I would ever need to file a claim and imagine litigating would be the only course of action. We just started a new earth quake policy with these guys and they booked us for an inspection fee that we have to perform ourselves. We have tried numerous times to receive a mystery link that we upload photos to but weeks of waiting and emails have fallen on deaf ears within the customer service department. I question if this company actually operates in California and not some scam center in India.

I would give them a 0 if possible...I requested my policy be canceled multiple time and asked for a refund, no one would help me and no one responded when they said they would. One person told me just to let my policy lapse and that I wouldn't be able to get a refund. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Do not use!!!!!! If they are this hard trying to cancel a policy, I can only imagine how bad they would be if you actually had a claim.

With Palomar / Wellington we have had the worst customer service for the past two years on our windstorm insurance. They are not customer focused or user friendly. They are making our property non renewable for insurance because of no inspection,
However, no one ever sent a letter, emailed or called us or our broker for that matter. With all sincerity I highly recommend you do not trust this company with your families insurance needs.

I wish you could give 0 stars. This company using wellington claim service is the worst experience you can have. Customer service is a nightmare if you can ever get them to call you back at all. Our claim went through 3 adjusters just to be told in the end that our upper kitchen cabinet replacement was only worth 56 dollars after being damaged by water. Do not under any circumstances use this company or Wellington.

Insurance is ridiculous through this company. You cancel and they still come back at you for something that was canceled months ago. Just take a big hint I do not want to use any of your services.

I have called Palomar numerous times trying to reach my agent or any agent from Palomar. I pleaded with the secretary or assistant who answered the phone to please have an agent call me. She or he assured me each time, yet I never heard from anyone.
This happened 5 times-----NO results. I am trying now to cancel my insurance and get.a partial refund.
I wish I could give a ZERO rating.
AVOID Palomar at all costs.

This company charged me twice for my insurance after being paid in full two days before, which resulted in a letter of cancellation from my actual homeowners insurance company. Trying to get my money back took me two full days. The people in their accounting department were hysterical and angry and unhelpful. Whoever from Palomar did this to my escrow account should be fired immediately.
