Panakio Adjusters were a dream come true during a difficult time for my family due to a fire in one of the apartments attached to our house. Melissa and her team were simply amazing to work with. Panakio Adjusters has been our 'go to' company for over 40 years. Way back then, we had a burglary and Panakio helped us to get a fair settlement. More recently, Tim Lehr of Panakio has been our adjuster, and I recommend him to anyone who has any kind of issue that involves their house insurance. Tim has a wealth of knowledge and helped us get fair and reasonable settlements in two challenging (to us, anyway) cases. I am truly grateful to whoever it was who recommended Panakio Adjusters to us so many years ago. I give Panakio Adjusters my highest recommendation. We first retained them for a fire loss about 30 years ago and we were extremely impressed by their professionalism, knowledge, and thoroughness in obtaining a fair settlement from our insurance company. Panakio Adjusters are my HEROES!!!
I am a retired and disabled postal worker who on top of being quarantined during 2020, needed a new section of roof and two new water heaters. Panakio made the jobs go smoothly with my insurance agency and had people in my cellar within hours of me finding it flooded from a burst tank.
They are always going to be my first choice in taking care of home repairs covered by my insurance. If not for CoVid I'd give all of them great big hugs.

First off, I didn't even know what a public adjuster was. Until a catastrophe strikes your home, you probably don't have all the knowledge you need to navigate through the claim process and protect yourself. Melissa Sherwood did an absolutely incredible job handling our devastating loss. She was on the scene documenting our damage as proof to back up everything on the claim, as well as arranging for others to come in and help dry out and salvage anything that could be saved. There was not a single thing that she didn't think about way before we did. It's so reassuring when you call her, and she says "already done". I would not hesitate to recommend Panakio Adjusters and Melissa Sherwood. She is knowledgable and professional, plus she's a very nice person. A full 5 out of 5!
