It was glowing reviews that gave me such hope! Solid selling of services and a start to having a kitchen, but almost no work or progress towards having a place to prepare food has occurred since they started in November. They are nice folk and skilled at saying what a customer wants to hear, but the words have yet to become action. Sad panda! Will update review if this changes.

When my elderly mother's floors were damaged by a water leak, I had visions of a nightmarish process of dealing with multiple departments at her insurance company and various contractors to mitigate and restore her house. However, we selected Paul Davis Restoration Northwest as our contractor and discovered they would help us navigate the entire process. From mitigating the water damage to removing contents from the house and installing the new flooring, Paul Davis handled it all! They coordinated with the insurance company and got all claims approved. And, their employees treated my mother and her home with great respect. Although every Paul Davis employee was wonderful, Trent Snead deserves special recognition. After a devastating water loss that gutted my home, I was overwhelmed and unsure where to begin. From the very first interaction, Zac Morales and the team at Paul Davis made everything feel manageable. Zac was the project manager who oversaw the entire rebuild, and he stuck to an impressive 4-week schedule without sacrificing quality for speed.

The craftsmanship and professionalism from everyone involved — Jason, Gerrad, Nate, and Isiah — were beyond my expectations. They treated my home with care and attention to detail, and the final result honestly feels better than it did before the damage.

I’m incredibly grateful to be back in my home with my kids — it’s beautiful, solid, and comfortable again, all thanks to this amazing team. I can’t recommend Paul Davis enough!

On Dec. 27, 2024, the contractor for our sewer company bypassed a 4 inch pipe with a 2 inch pipe. This caused our 3 bathrooms to be filled with raw sewage. It was declared a category 3 raw sewage disaster. We had to evacuate our home, because the sewage had penetrated the drywall half way up the walls and sub-flooring in all 3 bathrooms. Paul Davis Restoration was recommended to us to do the entire project, from mitigation and clean up to restoration of our home. The people at Paul Davis Restoration were amazing! Everyone who worked on the different parts of the project were extremely professional, polite, worked quickly, and flawlessly to get us back into our home as soon as possible. We were out of our home for 69 days, when the team got one bathroom finished and working, so that we could move back into our home. They finished the other 2 bathrooms in 8 days, including the new stone tile in our ensuite bathroom. No one would guess by looking at our bathrooms now, that everything had been destroyed by or covered in sewage; walls, floors, showers, tub, sink pedestals , and toilets. We would not wish this situation of anyone else! If something disastrous does happen to your home, we can not recommend Paul Davis Restoration highly enough to do the job they did for us justice. We are extremely happy with the results. They stayed in contact with us all alone the way, every decision was confirmed by us and met our standards as well as their standards. They made sure that we understood everything that was going on, why things were being done, and the codes that needed to be met. If anything happens to our home in the future, we will be calling Paul Davis Restoration of Portland/Vancouver to repair and restore our home! Thank you so very much to everyone involved in working on our home! Walter Pruitt and Trent Snead's teams are amazing at their jobs and we love what has been done to our home!

It really is amazing how thorough and comprehensive Paul Davis is.. from mitigation, to total loss, to the demo and asbestos removal, to textile, to construction... To have it as streamlined as they do... it truly deserves all the recognition! We can not express enough our gratitude for the thoughtfulness and care that each person poured into our home. A sincere heartfelt thank you to all the individuals whose labor of love does not go unnoticed. Maria, Jose, Luis, Kevin, thank you! Engel, Kaleb, and Lucio, thank you! William and his colleague were extremely professional and thorough. I didn’t gave to move anything from the area they needed to work in. Rather, they had all the supplies for my stuff, as well as equipment, materials, etc. for the job.

Overall, the experience with our local Paul Davis team was excellent--start-to-finish. After an upstairs toilet in our house ran and overflowed for hours, flooding upstairs rooms as well as flowing down through ceilings and walls into numerous rooms and storage spaces, our insurance company called in the Paul Davis company to assess and mitigate the water damage. Joel, the lead mitigation tech, was outstanding at communicating what the process would entail from start-to-finish. During the process he explained his damage findings (using moisture detecting equipment) and the the mitigation solutions that they would be putting into place; as well as the expected duration. The team who came in and did the demoing and set-up the dehumidifying and drying equipment also did an outstanding job. Everyone on the team was polite, professional, and considerate. Each team member wore masks in our house and truly seemed to take our safety and comfort into consideration throughout the entire mitigation process. The only constructive criticism that I would give was that, prior to starting up the dehumidifiers and heaters in multiple rooms (which would be used to dry out the ceilings, walls, and floors that had been impacted by the upstairs toilet overflowing), I wish that we'd been advised to remove all of the contents of our food pantry, as well as furniture in other impacted rooms. The result was a loss of most of our food--which was ruined by the intense heat over the course of multiple days, as well as potential damage to furniture from the wood being desiccated to the point of becoming cracked or warped. I would suggest that this become a standard warning to clients in the future. When the mitigation was complete, the team came in and removed all of the equipment, removed all of the plastic barriers, and cleaned-up after themselves very well. We appreciate responsiveness, professionalism, and all of the hard work that was done to help dry out our home quickly. So, that one oversight aside, I'm still giving them a 5 start rating and I would highly recommend the local Paul Davis team!
